- With just days until the British Shooting Show 2022 at the NEC outside Birmingham, organisers are working at full tilt. They have been hard at it since September, when they concluded negotiations with the NEC.

Much more expensive than in 2019 -
2019 - £20 for the ticket (child went free), including parking and show guide - £20
2022 - £25 adult ticket, £15.50 child ticket, £12 parking, £5 show guide - £57.50.
That's nearly a 200% price hike.
Northern Shooting Show - £13 ticket, free child, free parking, free show guide.
If they can do it, why can't you? And if you're blaming the venue, pick another venue.
Oh - and you can park cheaper just as close if you know where to look.

I was going , don’t mind £30 on the day for a ticket plus fuel to get there but what I won’t do is pay £16 on top for car parking !!! It’s a purpose made arena with thousands of spaces sat there empty ! I don’t go to Tesco to spend money there and pay for the privilege of parking to do it !

"Less than the price of a costa coffee" Makes it sound great, but when you word it as HALF THE PRICE OF THE TICKET then you realise it takes the piss, especially as someone else has already mentioned there are thousands of parking spaces for the arena, 16,500 to be precise... Kind of outrageous to have to pay to use them on top of paying for entry.

I WAS going to go, and may I add on my own, so not sharing the cost of parking or fuel, and buying my ticket on the door. £30 on the day that was just ok, but with £16 parking plus £60 in fuel £106 before I buy anything, I'll wait and go to the game fair, free parking free entry as being a B.A.S.C member, or better still support my local gun shop.

@@MKChase-uj9vx yes that's what I'm hearing, a lot of people I'm talking to say it's a rip off, not just the shooting show but all off these type of shows. Which is a shame because I do like going to them.

I'm supposed to be going on the 19th... but must admit £46 quid to park and walk in on the day is taking the piss a bit... I'll probably still go... but its leaving a bitter taste if I'm honest about it.
My wife has just been to a trade fair today at the N.E.C, with no entry fee and no parking charge. so how does that work.
£12 parking ???? Wouldnt be so bad , but its usually a mile walk to get to the door ... yes im going this year .. seems like the place to be .. but I think it'll be the last time if prices / car parking aint sorted
I think it's overpriced it's a sales show money for transport 200 miles you explained to me but I think it's a rip off. my wife said she will take me to a good gun room in exeter car parking is free. they have most products apart from air arms first time i missed so will probably never go again
The car park and ticket incase nearly stopped me going , but I bit the bullet on the ticket and got the train as it worked out cheaper for me alone my 6 year old daughter wanted to come but the ticket price was outrageous for kids , the price of the ticket and parking plus fuel to get there would cost me alone £86 before even walking through the door which is shocking . I must say there were definitely less stands this year and the show it’s self was pretty disappointing I purely went to meet the company’s I talk to throughout the year on social media

I'm going this year as I've done bugger all for two years but the cost of the ticket and £12 parking is cost prohibitive for me, Don't expect my money next year chap.
Rip off NEC yet again £30 ticket plus £12 parking - do the Yanks pay these over inflated charges for their shows !
We are being ripped off do not attend, 4 days later motor home and camping £13 including parking
When are the fishing hunting & shooting community going to ask why what the animal rights groups do towards them treated has a hate crime you don’t seem to hear anything about it in America it’s a crime so why not here.

I would love to see something anbout the normall joe so its easyer to get his shotgun cirtificate or streamline it simple background check this would help your perchitic shooters in the uk
30 pounds for a tickett and 16 to park what a rip in the 70tys it would have been 2 pound this gives such a bad name to the shooting sports its all for the rich no one bothers to think of the long term effects come on 5 pounds and 3 parking or 10 for all your leaving the average joe out in the cold
What a rip off the whole show price and car parking price and not half the stalls as normal can see why as they want charge them a rip off price too last time we be going

I bought my tickets months ago and knowing the show is going to be full I’ve got no qualms spending £12 on parking.. and I’m going on Friday and the Saturday lol
Wow, he's on the ball, not £12 but £16 parking on Friday, that's taking the piss. effectively £30 a pre booked ticket for four in a car, I suggest they find a venue that doesn't charge, they'd sell a lot more tickets. The show wasn't that impressive, for a two year gap it was pretty generic.

Ha! Ha! As I said not going to the shooting show, to much money. I needed another jacket for beating though, so off I went to my local gun shop, got one made by Percussion, nice and warm, waterproof with plenty of pockets, £105 saved myself £1 for a bag of sweets on the way home, RESULT.
I hope I can make it. Sounds like it's going to be the place to be for 2022.
Just looked at the trains and from Hull it £93 and then tickets of door. And a mag or map to get round. I will have to fill my bank account up and get some money in.

Waste of good money, 100gbp+ door to door and spent more time in the car then going around the so called show, 1st and last time so spend my money wisely
