love your honesty, hopefully they'll take your feedback
I hope so
Best review of the 032 imo because of the display details
I think one of the difficult things about reviewing a lot of these devices is that manufacturers often don't do a great job of documenting what version of HDMI or DP they're using, so the creators have to do a lot more work to find the information for themselves.
I’m trying to run this hub far away from my computer, but I can’t find any specs anywhere that show the Gbps rating for the USB C that comes with it. I need to know so I can get a longer one. Do you have any idea what it is?
Based on this I would probably opt for something from Plugable instead.
thanks for the video and the honesty
please review hdd docking station usb connection for SBC nas..
The Dell docking station from work has the same behaviour: only one monitor has 4k resolution, the other one just plain old 1080p. :|
It is a bit annoying but it seems not to be brand specific behaviour.
Could the graphical capability of the connected workstation be a limiting factor?
The device supports DP 1.2 and DP 1.4, so there's no reason that *I* can think of that it would be limited. So now I just use it as an overpriced USB hub and card reader.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Expensive, massive and ugly hub. The side you use as front is remarkably ugly.
I agree that it's expensive. I don't mind the look of it, though.
@DBTechYT I have one from HP. It's alot bigger and less accessible. But the two display ports are great and there are more USB 3.2 ports. I think there is only one USB type c port. My hub allows me to never remove my power brick from my laptop bag. It allows me to immediately have everything connected by plugging in just one cable.
Curious if it supports 2 monitors off an Apple Silicon Mac
This supports 2 monitors, but only 1 of them at 4k. It was designed like this for some reason.
That looks like a sager from xotic pc.

Glad someone noticed
