They don't even need to be offshore. They have family trusts with tax structures that were grandfathered in after changing the tax laws a few years ago (and again this year). Anyone who was rich enough and took time to set up those trusts before the change gets to defer taxes on those capital gains (of decades long investments) until the beneficiaries withdraw from it. What a coincidence that the recent inflation caused market prices to go up exponentially, yet it likely won't impact turdeau's income tax because he likely won't touch it until after his current salary ends.
Poilievre, a lifetime backbencher, is worth 24 million dollars and he didn't inherit it. Figure that out.

They borrower way more than needed to for the pandemic. And as every country that followed that path, there was inflation. The Liberals devalued our currency and never will achieve a balanced budget. The take from capital gains over 5 year is less than half of their deficit. They have doubled the national debt and now the biggest government program is interest payments.

Thank you for shining the light on this. I personally know contractors that are incorporated, their retirement is in their corporation. Plumbers, electricians, home builders, they have worked very hard and paid taxes all the way along. When they close their corporation again taxes are paid. There has to be a reward to the risk. Seems the liberals added more risk
