I don't see the argument the Liberals have, but also a tax break would be a disaster on its own. Canada'a infrastructure is rotting everywhere and taxes need to exist to fix them. Besides, your tax break is gonna go straight towards a new vehicle because your current one is gonna get lost down a 10 foot pothole, if it's not washed away by a broken aqueduct. Based on the promises of all the parties, I'm just happier staying home. All failures!

Your rental income isn’t a capital gain. I’d think you’d know that if you really have rental properties. The property you built for $300k and is now worth $1M is subject to capital gains tax. But you’ll still pocket a lot of cash when you sell.
