As my college music director might have said, "What a gorgeous hunk of music!"
Dark, somber, stately and - above all else - dignified. The emotion comes through powerfully without being maudlin or sentimental. There is a tremendous sense of the scale and magnitude of the event, balanced with a deep feeling of loss, making the whole piece a sort of musical encapsulation of the funeral itself.
I especially like the musical effect in the coupling of the orchestra with the chimes; it really drives home the impact without being theatrical and comes across as "just right." My compliments to the arranger for such a brilliant touch.

Abraham Lincoln the true Father of our nation. I hope one day our country can be United in a country without hate and fear. True love of fellow man and equal rights for all. Today there is slavery on a economic level. Everyone has a right to a true working wage.

I'm not a political guy, but since 2020 when Mr. Biden who is apart of the "blue" party was elected, my family have gone through financial troubles thanks to whatever the hell he is doing and increasing prices on anything and to say you want more of him is insane, I'm not defending the other guy, but if anything I rather live under him instead of the ancient relic that sits in the presidential mansion who has made even the basic necessities a hassle to buy.

@@lilyflower9093, it's a little thing called karma! He totally ignored the fact that, then as now, the Democrats were even more crooked and evil than the South ever was. The government was trying to force the South into restrictive trading and used their succession from the crooked Union as a way to force them back "into line". Everybody jumps on the slavery issue but NEVER really look at what was driving the South to break away....northern tyranny. The North had as many, or more slaves, nearly ALL owned by Democrats, than the South (a fact conveniently ignored by everyone). Oh, and the very first slave owner was....A BLACK MAN! Nobody went after him. Lincoln should have left the South alone until he cleaned up the sewage around his own feet first. He didn't do that and got what I feel was karma!
