Technically, it doesn't have a rear differential - it has a rear spool. I'd like one, but too much money for me until they come off lease in a few years maybe. My Modded S3 is just as quick, but no no trick diff.
I just took delivery of my new RS3 sportback. Only gripes so far, poor turning circle due to wider front tyres and the B&O sound system is rubbish. Audi have clearly cut corners with the ICE. The drive mode menu is glitchy, although I am told there is a software fix coming to resolve that. Otherwise, it looks amazing, is great to drive, super fast and sounds great - in the flesh it's much better than people in reviews keep saying it is. Mine has started to throw out a few pops now the miles are going on it. I have the ceramic brakes on mine, they're awesome. By the way, you can have the twin dials in the performance modes. The runway is horrible and I don't like the hockey stick either.
Audi are under selling their figures. Stock rs3’s are making 420bhp and 550nm M. Has a 3.8sec 0-60 0.1 better than A45. Does 180mph compared to A45’s 167 And the 5cyl engine sound.
@@dodgydodds Mercedes do the same thing - they always underquote their performance figures. I have viewed several Comparisions between the two. Some commentators love the Audio over the Merc and several prefer the Merc. The 0 -100 figure depends on who gets the best start. Several reviews show the A45 first over the line.. On an Indian test track, they achieved 280Klms/hr . When Audio can achieve the same figures as the A45s out of 2 litre and 4 cylinders - then I will have some respect for it.
If you're going to review a car, review it correctly. The exhaust pipes are not a huge oval shape. Those are fake tips. The smaller exhausts are set back within these tips, ok. 🙄
@@OsvUkVehicleSupply VW group cars reliability and customer service and VW's diesel gate shenanigans (they have just been fined in the UK and have had further court proceedings against them in Australia.) My hard earned would never go on a VW group car.

Nice. In my country an AWD Kia EV6 or Polestar 2 are around $10 - 15k less than this, and people are buying them sight unseen, absolute joke.

Mercedes A45s AMG is my choice - 423HP and 500Nm out of 2 litres
