Great review as always guys! Loads of detail but with effortless delivery 👍The Audi e-tron GT is a very handsome car in the metal, I was behind one queuing at a car wash recently and it really looked the part, definitely a head turner!
These are some of the best reviews on the internet. Super thorough and straight to the point. Definitely a nicer electric alternative to Tesla, however at that price-point I would be looking at an S8 saloon.

Why is the motoring journo world so lazy about discussing the fact that the J1 shared platform is as much a development of Audi as it is of Porsche. The cars in their respective marques are designed to do different things and really, you should be talking more about how well they filfill those briefs respectively. I drove the 4S and the GT before deciding between them for my purchase, having already rejected both the RS and the somewhat ridiculously named Taycan "Turbo" as not neccessary or desirable when measured against cost benefit for the additional cost. I chose the Daytona pearl Etron GT as whatever mode i had it in, the 4S was just too hard and fidgety, constantly asking things of me even when I wasn't pushing. The Etron GT fulfilled its brief far more effectively than the Porsche and has proved a delight to drive day to day, in all conditions but when asked, it can do the sprint thing to within a whisker of the 4S. The 4S however, just cannot do the day to day fluster free cosseting that the GT can, if it had the range id be happy to cross continents in the GT. Just to add the 4S had its squeaks too, although for both, its very minor and not have been audible in either car against the backdrop of an ICE soundtrack. So from a build quality perspective, there is no difference, although I prefer the surface interest and materials as well as the manual climate buttons of Etron GT interior after using it for a while. Whereas the flashiness of the multiple Porsche screens everywhere would begin to irritate.. As to the exterior, well, for me this is a no contest, the Etron GT has more ease about wearing its technology fashioned in a contemporary suit, conversely, the 4S tries but struggles to be less self consious and so relies more on the Badge to shout "hey you do know I'm a Porsche" All these are personal opinions and experiences, but they led me clearly to a personal preference and to the Audi dealership for the Etron GT. A decision I have not regretted.

How can it be a grand tourer though when you can’t do a grand tour because you only get 300 miles range which in reality is probably only 200.
How can Audi improve its design. Copy from Porsche. What design genius.
