Thanks for the Inspiration! In Germany we have another heat wave right now. Focussing on accessoires is a great motivation since Im so done with dressing for hot and humid weather
Also heat wave in the US ( Chicago , Illinois area ) . Schools just started the Fall semester last week but are doing early dismissals because of the extreme heat . However , the busiest places are the local ice cream shops ! 🍦🍧🍨

Thank you so much for making this video! Sometimes it is so difficult to look put together in this Texas heat. It is difficult to combine elegance with comfort when you are sweating like crazy so I appreciate this twist on summer styles! I hope you make more videos on how to dress "put together" in hot or humid climates.

As we head for Summer in the southern hemisphere, I’m making notes on incorporating the structured bag, the stacked heel leather sandal and the leather belt to elevate a look. I have some lovely pieces in my wardrobe and these are great ideas to style them. Thank you

I have a black leather and brown leather jacket that I honestly struggling what or which style to do😂 mainly because I am petite with short arms and legs😅

Get on a diet
I love the idea of tailored shorts but have a very hard time finding brands that fit me! I’m very petite and they end up looking ridiculous on me. Any good brand recommendations? Also, your hair looks great!

Talbot's has one more pair of white pleated linen shorts left in a petite size 2, and they are on sale! I bought this pair and a pair of navy ones and I love the fit on my petite stature.
Tommy Hilfiger offers different inseams in their cotton shorts. Great fit and lots of colors. I get mine at Macy's on sale!
I just ordered a couple pair from Ann Taylor on sale right now. The “Boardwalk” short comes in petite…love them!!

I inherited the love of scarves from my Mother, but my 3 daughters didn't get it from me! I love them.
I rarely disagree with you, Audrey, but here are my thoughts on cork: It depends on the specific shoe and what they are paired with. I have cork loafers and flats with nice hardware and gold threading that elevate them enough to wear them through fall, as long as its warm enough to go without stockings or socks. Ditto my cork heels, which match my skin tone and elongate my leg like other nude shoes. Lovely video, though!

Audrey, love these tips as usual. Nevertheless, I have often found myself having a hard time styling shorts. Not just tailored shorts, it's any kind of shorts, I would say. Any ideas for us who are struggling? Thank you!
What exactly is your problem with styling shorts? Do they feel generally feel "off" in you? Then maybe they are just not the perfect summer staple. I'm also struggling with shorts and found out that shirt skirts or long linen trousers work way better for me.
@@kupaadop Hi, I also found skirts/dresses/trousers/jeans work better for me. For shorts, I don't know what tops/shoes/accessories to go with them in order to not look plain/boring. Let me explain--one would only associate shorts with summer, right? And I feel like you can never look stylish when you pair them with a tank top/t-shirt/strappy sandals/sneakers. (I can be wrong but that's how I feel)

What's ur height?
English is not my first language and I don't really understand what you mean by "structured". I used my translator app but still don't understand. Can anybody explain please?
Structured in fashion means something that can hold its form, like a leather bag. She used a tote bag as something that is un structured because it just hangs on the shoulder. Typically, structured items are suits and formal wear, which is why she says adding structure into you outfit elevates it a bit. Hope this helps 😅
I'm a few weeks late. Structured is stiff lines. Lines that are not curved or sagging. Compare structured to something that looks tailored. Strong. Will not lose its shape. It's a bit hard to describe but Audrey wears a lot of structured clothes. If it holds its shape. It is often structured

I think this is an unfashionable thought, but on me, shorts will never look elegant (short legs, big calves, ripply thighs... 🫣!) I think elegance must take into account one's body.
