    I identify with a lot of what you said. Persistence and being motivated when you really don’t want to do anything at all is key for me. It’s tough being your own boss but I wouldn’t trade it for any 9-5 job out there.

    WOW Clack, this was a great video! I retired May 31 this year from the HVAC/R field and want to possibly start selling some of my woodworking, laser, etc projects to support my hobbies. Not looking for another job, but great advice even for just a part time gig. Thanks!

    Wow!! Great advice not only for starting a Laser engraving side hustle, but for any business. You really put yourself out there as far as your personal business experiences. This video tells me that you are not a greedy man. You care about your family and others whether you know them or not. I believe this video will give hope to anyone starting any business that "Yes I Can Do This", but I need to take it slow and easy. Everyone needs to have the attitude you display by putting out quality videos sharing your knowledge. God Bless You!!

    Man I wish I could say "I can't keep up with the orders." I love doing laser engraving, but i'm discouraged because I just don't have customers that want my stuff. They say "Wow, that is beautiful work" but they don't buy it!

    Great video and information. I have been building small items and outside furniture for 3 years making enough to buy new tools. Right now I am at your starting point. I started with a small CNC and a 10w laser. Recently a 36w laser, much faster. The CNC is now about 24x24 and is making more money. I will be getting my LLC later this year and go full time. I'm 72 years and enjoy building. Again I like the info and follow you.

    This information is gold. Thank you for creating this awesome video… as I look at financing a Thunder Bolt to kick start my LLC. 😅 Well it might be a gamble but if I can bring in at least the monthly payment it might be a good investment.
    But I see where that stress comes into play. Sadly I feel like anything less than a C02 I will be behind the competition, that’s where my stress plays a bigger part. I have the mentality that I NEED the C02 because clear & transparent engraved acrylic sells.
    I was going to start with a $2000 Roly, but now I’m looking at just jumping up to the $5500 Thunder Bolt… all because of the speed increase an extra cut-able materials.

    • @TheClackShack
      @TheClackShack  Месяц назад +1

      Good luck, the bolt is a good machine.

      @@TheClackShack I am curious what should I do with every penny I earn, considering the government is going to take their cut on every penny sold? Do you recommend not touching the money until after tax time or any recommendations with that? Thanks

      @@TheExtremeElementz I use quick books and it allows me to keep up with expenses. That will save some $$.Taxes still suck but I just keep enough to pay at the end of the year.

      It’s easy to fall into the trap of needing the next bigger thing. I did that with my first Co2 laser purchase. I thought I needed a bigger more powerful machine. In the end, I rarely needed more than a 12x24” working area and rarely needed the acrylic cutting function. So while it’s important to keep in mind what you might get into, it’s sometime best to find your base product and find the base machine that will get you started. It’s easier to pay off a smaller machine and then add tools as you start bringing money in. That all being said, I think the Thunderbolt is a very nice machine without a crazy big price tag. Just make sure you have a plan and keep some focus on that.

    • @TheExtremeElementz
      @TheExtremeElementz Месяц назад

      @@Vintauri I appreciate you commenting and talking me through it. I’ve been on the fence for so long originally thinking Roly but then I see more and more people using acrylic for signs for weddings and events that maybe I’m falling into the trap of thinking I’ll be doing that too. I do want to do that but maybe I should focus on the Roly. Ugh. Lol choices man I tell ya.
      Thank you again for putting things into perspective. I think I need to sit and make a list of items I think I WILL actually create and go from there. LLC has been established and learning what I can!
