I purchased my after market steering wheel (hub and quick release) about a week ago and finally installed it lol but I’m having issues with my horn. Before I tighten down everything I tested the horn to see if it worked and it did once I tighten everything down my horn wasn’t working but It would go off without me hitting the horn. To turn it off I had to unplug it from the hub. Just the hubs wire that goes connected to the horn. touching ground my horn goes off and with my OEM steering wheel I didn’t have issues with my horn at all
My only idea is that he moved it, and when they started the car a warning came up. Thats what it looked like at the end. So the warning was to not follow that in the video.
I dont think that's the case with cars older than 20 years. My steering wheel is falling apart and not only that but the locks dont work anymore. Would be nice to remove the steering wheel and not worry about some crack head trying to have a joyride.
I just got the srk-101h adapter combo kit for my evo 8, but i can't find instructions anywhere, its similar to this video but also very different could you offer any assistance
Hye. Do need to reprogram the etacs when u remove the airbag n put on the after market steering wheel ? Just curious with these full of electronic cars nowadays
Doing this in stall would you still fully be able to use the paddle shifters I saw on some forms they said you would lose that function but watching this it looks like it works
Do resistors give up after a while? Mine was fine but the airbag light just came on after like 6 months of no issues. I have the same car used for this install.

Why is the clockspring moved in the next frame, right after the note that said dont move it?

how did you get the t30's out mine are super stuck!? also my wheel locks automatically when the car turns off. any answers??

@@cyntiabetancourt5818 that was the airbag wire there’s a way to unplug it from the car entirely but most people just leave it or cut it
