I’m interested in getting the Dewalt router and on Amazon it doesn’t have a battery included option. It also does not show up in the related section. Is there a specific lithium ion battery that you guys use?

We have the 3 amp hour batteries, but they don't last all that long. Home Depot has a sale going on where you can get the router, 2 6 amp hour batteries and a charger for $150 I think. I'd definitely go there.

Noticed you used different routers for this project. Could the craftsman router be used for this and most projects. Since I have other Craftsmen tools I have the batteries. Trying to decide best router to purchase. ThankYou for your videos and the step by step explanations.

Definitely! We really like the Craftsman router. We use different routers just because we have a bunch of them and we keep different bits in different routers. I'm actually really impressed with the craftsman cordless router. It's a solid tool!
