1989 the best year for pop. Hahaha well once house music invaded England it was all over for Maggie hahaha. Kiss FM man oh man. I was fortunate to listen to both Choice and Kiss FM so i got the best dance music plus reggae and soul.

I love 80s music but I was clubbing across the 80s, 90s and early 2000,s when I got married and chilled. I would like to say I miss it. Western music has degenerated. Someone told me recently that almost all the 'pop' music comes from five studios through various networks of publishers. I hope it is wrong but it does sound that way. The 80s were the ultimate indivuality. The music was incredible. The 90s were fun but largely built upon it. I did sets in some great clubs at the time too. Though probably more by connection than talent if I am honest. Though everyone always seemed to have a good time. But now? It is so bland. Its like living in a forest and watching the trees all get bulldozed off and a plain, grey wasteland ahead. Politics has taken over and killed it.
90’s dance music and the 80’s. Great memories and a great time. The world has just gone to shit now. So glad I’m from that era. Wouldn’t want to be growing up and young in this world we live in now.

It's 1993, I'm 20, leaving SF on the Bay Bridge @ 3:30am after a night of club hopping, I still reek of Obsession cologne and I have about 40% temporary hearing loss. My car radio's tuned to Wild 107.7 and this song comes on to close the night.
1993 walked into Rrios in Sevilla 2am and this came on, we partied until they ran us out of the club at 8am, heading to the train station back to Puerto de Santa Maria.
This jam will never get old. Takes me back to being 16 and being out of my mind traveling through the cosmos standing in them dark warehouses with flashy lights.
I think its physically impossible to get bored of this tune.

Was in a bar in Gran Canaria in 1991 and this was playing and they had a video playing of the 100 greatest goals of all time. It worked really well with the music.

This always reminds me of hot summer days, in the council estate, someone’s parents are in work and they’ve got a free house, they’ve rolled the hifi over to the windows and the speakers are positioned to pump this out across the air. Those were the days.
