I'm a huge fan of Peter Diamandis and Ray and that bunch. I've been keeping my fingers on the pulse of A.I. and using it some in my painting business like creating stock images with Midjourney. But just barely scratching the surface. One thing I notice is the pace of advancement is so rapid its hard to keep up! But definitely fun to try!
It’s a little overwhelming lol. I’m just listening at the gym. Booking calls with people who are doing AI stuff. Joined a mastermind. Subscribed to people who are doing a lot. Just learning mode for now.
There’s a new 3d printer that paints walls now, pretty much looks like a robot that paints faster than a human with a spray gun. Perhaps AI can become our entire painting crew, project manager, estimator, office manager. Just send in the bots!
This is scary if true...how far does it go and where does it stop...this makes me invision a world where humans are irrelevant...in and of everything... you or I don't have to exist if we're still here
Thanks again man! I'm always looking forward to your videos. You gave me the courage to strike out on my own. Now all I have to do is quit painting.. . .
Haha. That's ok! One step at a time... I have a video about how to quit painting and start actually running the business. Look for it on the main channel page. It's a longer form video (not a short).
Good feedback. More to come. What changed my mind was spending some time with Peter Diamandis and getting to ask him some questions. Where we are starting, and where to start is: just start learning. I’ll have more to share, and will share more, when I have more specifics. I needed to make this video to correct my old video!
I saw an AI robot cutting wheat... Brother, if they can be programed to cut wheat, they can paint house.... unfortunalty, probably better than hung over, grouchy, moody painters. (I knew thos was coming.)
We build an app that helps painters estimate and sell work. We’ve gotten huge gains in the capabilities of our app by adopting more AI under the hood.
💪💪 for anyone who hasn’t heard of Hoist, check it out. Feel free to drop a link John!
This is a very ambiguous message. What specifically is AI doing for painters?
Thanks
There are a lot of things coming

100% agree
Great content Eric! Where would you recommend starting the reading/research?

I’ve been using lots off AI tools to build my web and for google ads and I realized even more how vastly we can use various AI powered tools
It’s insane how vast the implications are. Exciting and daunting all at the same time.
Have you looked into the Rabbir R1 AI phone? you could teach it to do your estimateing. All sorts of potential if It works the way thay say it does
Yea man. Pretty wild.

It's hard to know what to do with this video without any specifics on what changed your mind or what impact you think it will have.

Yeah but why would you do something so stipid

I do think that will happen eventually. I’ve seen others that hang drywall already!
