I've seen this character before in videos. Imagine admiring Jimmy Page so much that you're willing to look like him and sound like him to the point where you've lost yourself in his persona because you live vicariously through him to validate yourself as a person. Then one day you wake up when you're older and you can't do it anymore and look in the mirror and you don't even know who the hell you are anymore. It is the ultimate form of flattery to Jimmy Page and the ultimate form of low self-esteem of who this guy really is. I love this! Classic rock _should_ be treated like classical music, with reverence and an eye to to detail. To many people say "oh! I'm just improvising" or "I play it my own way" as an excuse to hide their laziness in learning to play a piece correctly. The Japanese should be put in charge of everything :)
if you take it to the length mr jimmy obviously has then its pretty cool also a little bizarre but cool. over all i do generally prefer both to listen and play with people who do it their own way. its not out of "lazyness" its how you develop as a musician, remember jimmy page didnt endlessly copy he did things his way. and listening to people who go note for note just make me think why dont i just listen to the original...
Mr Jimmy yeah all we need is a mr Robert a mr John and a mr Johnny John John , zeps music is the best tonight I was listening to How many more times from Stockholm live when zep sprang on to the world stage Rock tight that's all I gotta say 🤟🤟🤟
Seen him with a Zeppelin tribute band, Led Zepagain, in Raincouver, September, 2013. I also recall seeing them at the US Customs, border crossing office, the day before the show…mentioned to them I was going to their performance. Oddly enough, I was on a guitar related outing, myself.
People need to get their definitions correct. This is not emulating, he is imitating. Emulate means "to try to be as good or successful as." Imitate means "to copy or fashion oneself after."
Im not here to be jealous or knock anyone who loves page as much as i do. I have great respect for his love of the greatest player of all time. But im a serious player of 43 years did a 40y anniversary show at the crest theater here in sac with my good friend Frank of Tesla. So when i first heard about mr jimmy i was really expecting him to be playing stuff note for note and although he does manage this on a few songs he doesnt on the majority of what they play. Ive listened to a couple live performances of him and to be honest i thought he was going to be better and more crazy accurate for someone so into zeppelin. If your a serious player of many years with an ear and know all those studio and live solos you can hear he has some down real well and others have only bits and pieces of Pages original playing. I still think mr jimmy is great and sure looks very much like page as well. Plus he did it right with the outfits thats pretty cool.
So what? He's not touring. There is no Zep anymore. So what's wrong with tribute acts? There's no need to be defensive about stuff like this. It's just fun.

He’s amazing! I’ve seen him a few times.
He nails every note
I think Page is the most difficult guitarist to emulate. This guy has done his homework
I was hoping this would be on amazon or netflix
I got to see him with Jason Bonham in the last year or so. Mr Jimmy did a great job! I can't wait to see this movie. 🤘

Go Jimmy!
Definitely grooving, more power to him. ARIGATO.
Amazing.

Jimmy Page is the quintessential rock star. 🌟
Just saw him tonight with Jason Bonham - they were incredible!
OMG CRYING!!!
Seen him three times. Mind blowing
I love it! Can’t wait to see the film 😎
I too wanted to be Jimmy Page when I was 14. However, I quickly learned that the world already has a Jimmy Page.
So what? He's not touring. There is no Zep anymore. So what's wrong with tribute acts? There's no need to be defensive about stuff like this. It's just fun.
