Doubt..🙋♂️-as the liver has Glut-2 glucose transporter....and glut 2 is independent of insulin...then how does the DM causes lipogenisis, where the glucose can be uptaken by liver through a passive process...!!??🤔🤔

Sir if oxaloacetate is depleted and tca cycle cannot occur so acetyl coA is diverted towards ketone body synthesis then how during ketone body utilization can acetyl coA give 20 ATP by entering into tca cycle if tca cycle is not even operating?
Sir if tca cycle is not happening then how in energetics from two molecules of acetyl coa 20 atp is forming. There is lack of Oxaloacetate and the main reason for ketone bodies synthesis is diversion of tca cycle due to unhandling of acetyl coa by tca cycle?
Sir I have a doubt At 10.06 u say that 1 ATP is utilised but where?? And when succinyl CoA converts into succinate 1 GTP is formed which inturns form ATP , so why r u not calculating it
Sir that means we can say in Diabetes Mellitus type 1 there in increase of glucose level outside the cell nd decrease of glucose level inside the cell???
Thank you so much for this explanation! I am doing a paper on the keto diet's effects on cellular respiration and I notice you mention only starvation and uncontrolled diabetes as conditions that induce the synthesis and utilization of ketones. Is it the same process for someone eating a diet of say no more than 20g of carbohydrates a day to induce ketosis?
Sir, You started with TWO acetyl COA molecules and ended up with TWO acetyl COA molecules, already excess acetyl COA leads to ketone production but in the end of the ketone utilization process acetyl COA concentration remains the same , HOW THIS WORKS ?
In starvation, glucose in the body is low. So glycolysis does not occur, because there is no glucose to be broken down. So no pyruvate is formed and as a result OAA which is derived from pyruvate by action of Pyruvate carboxylase is not formed. Hence there is insufficiency of OAA and acetyl CoA cannot enter TCA cycle so it goes into ketogenesis.
Acetoacetate to beta OH butyrate is occurring in the presence of beta OH butyrate dehydrogenase but there is addition of hydrogen occur but sir you use dehydrogenase , i hope u answer this question.
Sir your lecture is short , and cover all things on that topic , your lecture save our time , thank you so much sir , for supporting students.

Glucose uptake by liver is possible but other cells of body which transport through insulin dependent transporter can't get sufficient glucose

@BiochemistrybyDrRajeshJambhulkar sir energetics i didnt understand...1 ATP is utilised where?
Very clean explanation and short 😀
10:13 what about succinate will it not enter into tca cycle to produce atp
Where is 1 ATP utilized ? Why did we substract 1 from 22.5?
Activation of acetoacetate to acetoacetyl CoA required 1 ATP
Oh understood. Thanks sir
Thanks 🙏🙏🙏
@@dr.nancychauhan in beta oxidation activation of fatty acids to fatty acyl coA will consume two ATP right ? Then why here one ATP only ??

Where did 1 ATP is used, To make it 21.5 ATP's?

sir, you explain every topic very simple way, thank you so much sir 🇧🇩

Sir why minus 1 is done from net atp??
Thank you so much for this explanation! Is it the same process for someone eating a diet of say no more than 20g of carbohydrates a day to induce ketosis?
Where is the last ATP utilisation occur???
Sir why should we substract 1 ATP from 22.5 ATP in utilization
Plss clear my doubt
Activation of acetoacetate to acetoacetyl CoA require 1 molecule of ATP
Precursor for ketogenesis is acety coA Or acetoacety coA
Sir, during ATP production from Ketonebodies, where one ATP is utilized?
Krebs cycle me utilise hoga during succinyl coa to succinic acid
Sir,
You started with TWO acetyl COA molecules and ended up with TWO acetyl COA molecules, already excess acetyl COA leads to ketone production but in the end of the ketone utilization process acetyl COA concentration remains the same , HOW THIS WORKS ?
I think the Acetyl COA will enter TCA cycle which will break them down.
That acetyl coA will enter kreb's cycle further ETC and produce energy
3:40 why there is absence of oxaloacetate
In starvation, glucose in the body is low. So glycolysis does not occur, because there is no glucose to be broken down. So no pyruvate is formed and as a result OAA which is derived from pyruvate by action of Pyruvate carboxylase is not formed. Hence there is insufficiency of OAA and acetyl CoA cannot enter TCA cycle so it goes into ketogenesis.
@@___s___8071 can u please explain the energetics
Sir, I have a doubt - acetyl coa is the first compound in ketogenesis. Then it can be directly converted to glucose via tca cycle???
Acetyl CoA is completely oxidised into 2CO2 in TCA cycle
Thank you soo much sir❤️
Where 1 ATP is utilised
