I am totally sold on the raptor now after watching this crash bash session lol If that is the ma5 g2 esc in the xmaxx you can run 12s too..😮 try it ! I have one xmaxx set up with the 1100kv motor and another one set up with max6 with 1100kv and my 3rd xmaxx with the mamba esc with 1260kv castle motor... im waiting on the motor mounts to come in for the 2nd n 3rd xmaxx.. can't wait for warmer weather! I love my Raptor R but ever since i put in the Metal Spur gear and did away with the pastic one i started tearing up my Diffs, im puttin new Diffs in now and puttin factory plastic spur gear back on and hopefully thatll fix my issue
Dont get me wrong, the X-Maxx is simply amazing on how much abuse it can take but that Raptor..... just wow. never sent mine that hard but still havent broken a single part on mine.

@@juliachatwell I can totally relate I had back surgery 29 years ago and had to have two disc taken out. Every day can be a struggle. Watching your son out there is pretty impressive and he helps keep me young and out there trying some of his tricks. 😂 I wish well and I hope everyday a sunrises through your window. Hang in there. 👍😁
@@CM-ig2pf oh man!! That sounds rough. This is my first back / nerve issue. I just woke up with the most painful , crippling sciatica behind my knee. I could not walk. I limped for 6 weeks. My leg is better but it’s really weak and doesn’t feel right! You are exactly right ….It is a struggle everyday. My husband has had issues in and off for years because he always worked hard labor and he just told me to get used to It and to suck it up! Haha. I have sympathy for anyone who has back / nerve issues

That raptor chassis looks very similar to a rival mt10 chassis at the rear both underneath and where the motor sits. Makes me wonder if this is why it’s so strong.
I've been running without a middle brace on X-Maxx since last spring, I find it better, in my opinion, without it.more flexing. But I got a M2C brace on bottom
