You could have everything going wrong in your life; cancer, loss of a loved one, family struggles, and yet the second your boots hit the ground that all drifts away. For a moment you have a reprieve. Thank you for making these films for us to live vicariously through and escape for a minute.
The camaraderie and teamwork is what gets me. I dream of hunts like this and I’ve only been bow hunting whitetails in Pennsylvania. These sorts of videos get me psyched for that one possible day. Love it!
Really enjoyed this. It’s tough for a father/husband to make it to the elk woods every year on an average salary. Not to mention the added stress of being gone for an extended time. My brother and I go as far to split a tag when we go to save cost just to get out there as much as possible. These videos really get me pumped up and keep me pushing.
A hunt is more than tagging an animal. It is a journey, an experience against the elements, no matter how troublesome they may be, with good friends that cherish the opportunity to be outside. Making memories is what will most remembered…. Nicely done Jason! U all earned that one.

When I was a boy my family hunted the Coast Range of Oregon; steep hills, lots of rain, and heavy underbrush. What you experienced reminds me of those hunting trips.

Weather, the greatest equalizer in history. The most seasoned humans adept in their own environment will forever be challenged by Mother Nature and her pleasures. I love hunting after a few challenging days where the weather is rough and your ability to glass is limited. Great adventure, love the film.

I have three friends that I have hunted with for thirty five years (Mud Brothers), This year I’m the only one with a tag, but we all go for the experience. That’s what I call true friends. Hunting is the chase, the work, the passion and respect for nature. Amazing hunt and a great example of fair chase ethical hunting. I use Leupold because it is really the best optics, and that is what connects us to the animal.
