$700 software on an RTX computer makes a solid capture better looking than perception neuron ($4000).

do you recommend half circle or full circle setup like in the video??

I recommend full circle. I tried half circle in smaller rooms, but It won't track well if there is a self occlusion in limbs.

@@incrediblesarath alright!. Do you have any other tips on how to get the perfect results?

@@SiddTheKing Sure, you may already know some of them, anyway some points to note
0.Start with watching a tuto, like this one ruclips.net/video/GB19_2PEL1A/видео.htmlfeature=shared, or official documentation
      1. You need nvidia RTX gpu to AI auto recover to work
      2. AI auto recover often crashes the studio(latest version as of 07-10-2024)
      3. always use latest version of recorder and studio
      4. don't try to increase the height of the Eye camera to cover more capture area, I found hip to shoulder height is optimal, if we go upper foot won't track well
      5. use move controller for calibration, I found checker board is time consuming
      6. calibration and actions may not work on first try, you may need more than one takes
      7. watch full setting up tutorial before start, don't get frustrated if it didn't work on first try, it may take some trial and errors.
      8. don't track head, it never worked for me, always keep it off
      9. If you want head tracking, strap a ps move controller to your head
      10. you can use 3 ps move controller or equivalent for head, and both hands. But if you use old controller like me, keep in mind that, you may run out of battery in the middle of the production
      11. don't record lengthy clips, make new clip every shots, because it uses more disk space
      12. you need dedicated usb ports to plug in ps eye cameras, in a typical pc you may not be able to connect more than 4 cameras, you need usb port extension or another computer in slave mode
      13. use active usb 2.0 extension cables, there are passive cables online that won't work
      14. I use up to 20 meter cables, found no problems
      15. if you want to use any other cameras than ps eye, buy cameras which records more than 60fps and more than 75 deg field of view
      16. If you want to try Kinect, you can connect 2 xbox 360 kinects, or 1 xbox one Kinect which uses usb 3.0, for more connections, you need usb port extension or another computer in slave mode
      17. If you want to use webcams, mobile cameras or action cameras it should have option to turn off autofocus, we need manual, focus breathing will be problem
      18. there is a option to stitch offline recorded videos in ipi recorder, so you can record offline video mobile camera or action camera and transfer later
      19. I wouldn't use realtime streaming option, it may compromise the quality to optimize for realtime
      20. you should not wear loose cloths, choose contrast cloths from your backgrounds, wear wool cap which covers hair. It tracks face with single color, so clean shave required (in theory) for good head track. Wear long sleeve shirt under short sleeve with different color. wear solid colored cloths. wear shoe.
      21. I never tried more than 1 actor, but it should work upto 3 actors like they advertised, but we better record each actor separately (occlusion)
      22. light the room well, poor lighting affects capture quality, especially if you use cheap ps eye camera which is 360p.
      23. room should not have moving items, like waving cloths or other than actors moving stuff
      24. don't use lot of set props to occlude actor
      25. use 30 day trial test out your scenario
      26. buy basic version mostly enough or pro version, perpetual and rental available, we need to upgrade with money on major releases
      27. worth every penny
      28. I prefer clean-ups in DCCs, click jitter removal 3 times, trajectory smooth 2 before export
      29. utilize retarget option, it saves lot of time
      30. you cannot track fingers

@@incrediblesarath thanks for tips 🙏. I have 4 brios. They are capable of 90 fps. In the website it says to set 1 cam to a height of 2m+ for better foot tracking, what height do you recommend?, shoulder to hip for all cameras?. Your video and calibration looks perfect I want to achieve similar results.

@@SiddTheKing Cool, My cameras around are 1.4m heigh from the ground, in my old setup I kept at around 2m, but 1.4 looks better for me.
