I just love videos that feature people, all sorts of different ones. The beginning of this video was so fun, and then that trail looked awesome too! So much fun stuff to session in there I bet
Surprised you didn't ride *Corona De Loma* while you were there. It has a section like Sedona's Portal Trail (don't fall off). I grew up on South Mountain. :-)
I agree with the singletrack sampler, really good video its fun to see other youtube riders out there with you much like your earlier videos with Alex and Seth, all the banter with riding is fun to watch. Keep it up BKXC
I live in Phoenix and do the "Mormon Loop" which is what you guys rode, and I can't believe you climbed the whole hill at 6:48 ! I did the loop this past weekend twice and I was DYIN on the way up and had to stop for a few minutes to catch my breath. Nice work!
Great trails. Just done 40mins on trainer. A few 35 sec sprints in big ring and number 4 on back. Thats a gear up from last week. In a pool of water. Can't wait for the better weather here so I can try my new strong legs out in the Peak District UK. Thanks for the inspiration
I rode in Arizona (Tucson) for the first time a couple weeks ago. Riding that desert landscape is so beautiful. I'm looking forward to the rest of the videos in this trip!
Heck ya man! Welcome to my back yard. I ride South Mountain daily. National trail is no joke thats for sure and its a great destination trail. I'm sure you enjoyed turning around and hauling ass back down to the parking lot.
Awesome video Brian, South Mountain is where it's at and my home trails. I hope you liked the waterfall. I just cleaned that about a week ago. National is one of my favs out there. Also a few other places to go are the Hawes trail system and Usery and hit up Pass Mountain Trail. Cant wait for part 2.
I saw Syd's and Macky video and was waiting for yours, I really liked it. There are some holly molly passages, I was like htf are they able to pass that 😲 Good work 👍
Very nice Brain. These are my home trails, it's about a 25-minute drive from the house. Looks like you did very well. I've already seen the Syd & Macky video but I'm looking forward to your next one. If you're going to be in the Phoenix area again you should check out the Hawes Trail system as well as Gold Canyon. Not as technical as South Mountain, but super fun stuff. Hit me up if you want a tour.
Yep I miss Az! You guys had a clear morning. Usually you look out at the city and only see half or less because of the smog. The down is so much fun at S.Mtn!
I was in Phoenix for work for 3 weeks in January. Had planned to rent a bike and ride a bunch but my ankle decided to swell up like crazy and I just hobbled around for 3 weeks while looking out the window of the office at the mountains
Nice video, that looked like a really fun group. I feel the same way with fitness, I have to ride a lot to be less than average. That steep section was calling for Jeff the Trail Boss, he makes things that are impossible easy. In six years my wife and I are planning on making Sedona home, one of my favorite places, magical. Take care
BKXC I think I remember seeing it. He is always riding things I would walking, he is just so talented. I like his riding style, very controlled and smoth. Take care and enjoy Arizona, E Coast is locked in snow.
Hey man, I’m moving to Phoenix soon and want to start riding trails around there. Price aside, would you recommend a hardtail or FS for a beginner in that area/terrain? Thanks!
I literally snorted! I've been trying to put together words to describe hanging out with my wife and what it's like, and that couldn't be more spot on! 🤣🤣🤣
I'm sure you're happy on these awesome-looking trails, Brian, away from the snow and damp and cold... just don't get excited enough to hug a cactus, a'ight? 😜 If it's not too much to ask, my man, what's your fitness routine?
I rode my mountain bike all over South Mountain years ago...but had a near death experience on my road bike on the way down after going to the antenna at the top...got run off the road by an idiot in a truck. Only 10 stitches in the arm...
Finishes video... Looks out of window at the waterlogged ground and melting snow... Adds another link to the resentment chain (11sp in case you're interested) ... Come on spring , where the hell are you!
It was so damn fun to ride with Syd & Macky, go check out their channel to see where they’re going next: ruclips.net/channel/UCu3Wc2GlCpyxGmX7N0EO5NQ
I just love videos that feature people, all sorts of different ones. The beginning of this video was so fun, and then that trail looked awesome too! So much fun stuff to session in there I bet
You should come out here....
I love my state
National is about the only good thing Phoenix has to offer (trail wise). But when it’s good, it’s GOOD.
Great characters and amazing terrain!
Surprised you didn't ride *Corona De Loma* while you were there. It has a section like Sedona's Portal Trail (don't fall off). I grew up on South Mountain. :-)
Great riding with you! Can't wait for part II and finally going down the hill ;)
Hell yeah! It's gonna be a good one
That was the first place I ever filmed a Trail Boss Episode but I left a camera at the top and forgot it so it took 2 trips to finish the video!
Hahaha, brutal!
Guess I got a little lost for words at 9:15 haha thanks for letting me tag along with you guys!
Hahaha! It was great to have you along, man. You really held your own with us. I think that would have been a TALL order for any other person.
What a rad place hey?! So unique. Can't wait to see part two!
same
Thanks dude, it was sweet!
Thanks for letting us tag along!
You're always welcome!
What fanny pack thing were you wearing?
I love when my favorite RUclipsrs collide, seeing different versions of a cool ride is great.
Yeah buddy!!
Heading out to AZ in October. I'm using this as a reference for how much I'll be out of breath.
That is some intimidating uphill right there. Makes everything i've failed to ride up look tame.
Hahaha, that is spot on
Great video. Love to see people with a good sense of humor on the channel!
Thanks man!
I agree with the singletrack sampler, really good video its fun to see other youtube riders out there with you much like your earlier videos with Alex and Seth, all the banter with riding is fun to watch. Keep it up BKXC
Thanks dude, I appreciate the love!
Some of those rock gardens look crazy! Definitely need to make my way out to PHX and check out the trails. Looking forward to part 2!
So much epic chunk!!
Awesome! And lots of other people we all watch too! Can’t wait for part 2 and some time to watch the extended cuts on the trainer! Thanks brian.
Thanks my man!!
Already watched Syd and Mackys video with you in it. Definitely cool to see different perspectives of the same ride, outing, adventure.
NICE!

Thanks so much Manuel!!
"I have escaped the snow in Sedona for the beautiful sunny skies of Phoenix" ... Wow! That's the life, man!
Big time!
Loved watching this video and have been loving what you're doing with this amazing life we are gifted with. Love it Brian
Thanks so much for the positive vibes Kyle!
At 7:35 is me on every climb...LOL! I'm glad you feel that why occasionally Brian! I don't feel so alone anymore
Haha yes!!
I live in Phoenix and do the "Mormon Loop" which is what you guys rode, and I can't believe you climbed the whole hill at 6:48 ! I did the loop this past weekend twice and I was DYIN on the way up and had to stop for a few minutes to catch my breath. Nice work!
Nice break away from the nuggitorium pal 👍👍
Thanks!
I just watched Syd and Mackys video. Cool where we get a chance to see you in action Brian following you behind
Nice!
"Do I need to see a Dr?" LMAO!!
Hahaha
Good Video. Fun with Syd&Macky. Just helping you get in shape for Tibet.
Haha exactly!
Great trails. Just done 40mins on trainer. A few 35 sec sprints in big ring and number 4 on back. Thats a gear up from last week. In a pool of water. Can't wait for the better weather here so I can try my new strong legs out in the Peak District UK. Thanks for the inspiration
Awesome!! Keep fighting
One of my favorite trails ever.
Me too!
I rode in Arizona (Tucson) for the first time a couple weeks ago. Riding that desert landscape is so beautiful. I'm looking forward to the rest of the videos in this trip!
Nice, I need to get there!
Heck ya man! Welcome to my back yard. I ride South Mountain daily. National trail is no joke thats for sure and its a great destination trail. I'm sure you enjoyed turning around and hauling ass back down to the parking lot.
That's awesome! I loved it
After all the terrible weather we've had in the UK this winter, at least I can watch your vids and dream of some dry conditions
Hell yeah!
You dudes are hilarious on the trail.. having some good straight fun..
"Blood of the forest" sounds a lot cooler than syrup!
Haha yep
I love how you just keep maple syrup on you at all times😂
Awesome video Brian, South Mountain is where it's at and my home trails. I hope you liked the waterfall. I just cleaned that about a week ago. National is one of my favs out there. Also a few other places to go are the Hawes trail system and Usery and hit up Pass Mountain Trail. Cant wait for part 2.

I saw Syd's and Macky video and was waiting for yours, I really liked it. There are some holly molly passages, I was like htf are they able to pass that 😲

Looks fantastic, bring on part 2 :)
Hell yeah!
Mad skills on the rocks !
Thanks, it's about the only thing I feel really solid on!
Hell yeah! Been wanting to see you shred Somo!
Thanks dude!
I was holding back tears when I saw the bike on the back of the car with snow on it
Why?
Because it's a super nice bike that I'd give my left nut for that's exposed to the elements/weather
Nick Hepler why the left nut? Can't it be the right nut?
MTB 5.7 Unfortunately, I already spent it on a dropper post
It's a bike!
That looks like a blast!
It was!!
You should come up to Flagstaff! Its about 45 min up from Sedona and its at 7000 ft! We've got some killer trails up here!
Buried in even more snow than Sedona, haha
Techy and rocky. I like it!
A chunky dream!
Awesome terrain, awesome riding!
Thanks Ben, I loved it!
because they ride dirt bikes bro......by far the ultimate trainer for anything......
That pro van life, that's cool!
Super cool!
As always love your videos.
Thanks!
Great trail. I seem to like a lot of rocks and technical trails.
Yeah, it's so dang good!
got some fat paw grips... just as easy to install as lock on, but so much more comfort and grip! looks like a sick place to ride too
NICE!
Awesome dude! Keep up the good work
Thanks!!
Long drive to mtb south mountain. Try Dynamite and pima loops, brown trails or mesa hawes trail.
Nice size. Easy to use and lightweight.
I was in Phoenix for work for 3 weeks in January. Had planned to rent a bike and ride a bunch but my ankle decided to swell up like crazy and I just hobbled around for 3 weeks while looking out the window of the office at the mountains
Ahhh brutal.

That steep section was calling for Jeff the Trail Boss, he makes things that are impossible easy. In six years my wife and I are planning on making Sedona home, one of my favorite places, magical. Yeah, Jeff Lenosky's got a video of him getting up it!!
BKXC I think I remember seeing it. He is always riding things I would walking, he is just so talented. I like his riding style, very controlled and smoth. Take care and enjoy Arizona, E Coast is locked in snow.
I love Syd & Macky
They're great folks!
Sedona will seem like child's play after South Mt.
Hahaha!
Maple syrup? Interesting, must try it out. 👍🏻👍🏻
It's pretttty good
I rode this same exact route both yesterday and today 8-)
BK engineering beautiful
Haha thanks Dwight
As always loving the video but Bri .......... Where’s the Bronson? ..... Having a rest 😂😂😂😂👍🏽

Living the dream!
I live in the area and it does take some getting used to breathing in super dry air!
keep em coming!
Thanks dude!
Hey man, I’m moving to Phoenix soon and want to start riding trails around there. Price aside, would you recommend a hardtail or FS for a beginner in that area/terrain? Thanks!

Hell yeah
I'm sure you're happy on these awesome-looking trails, Brian, away from the snow and damp and cold... just don't get excited enough to hug a cactus, a'ight? 😜
If it's not too much to ask, my man, what's your fitness routine?
Haha, I'm always running into cacti! Fitness routine now is try to ride 3 days a week.

Drillin, fillin and billin! XD great one Brian! you should come ride to the Dominican Republic!
Hahaha I'll always remember that quote!
I rode my mountain bike all over South Mountain years ago...but had a near death experience on my road bike on the way down after going to the antenna at the top...got run off the road by an idiot in a truck. Only 10 stitches in the arm...
Holy moly!
Sweet video Brian! I love riding South Mountain! Just rode there last week. Did you swap out your Santa Cruz for the Rallon?
Thanks dude! Bronson is retired until the Rallon breaks
Couldn't use the rip row outside in the UK, the weather is way too bad to be setting that bay boy up at the services!
Hahaha yep
Finishes video... Looks out of window at the waterlogged ground and melting snow... Adds another link to the resentment chain (11sp in case you're interested) ... Come on spring , where the hell are you!
Hahah brutal
Ya Tibet!! Training starts now? Haha!
You know it!!
I like how you gathered your thumbnail from emojis 😂😂😂
Haha thanks
