I was thinking to myself that Tsukuba wasn't too far away from WTAC and how it'd be cool to see some laps there... and you did it! Even without a TC, I clocked a 55.1 on my stopwatch, which is incredible. Much applause!
This car is so sick. Every onboard gets the heart pumping. Cool to get to see what looks like the tires starting to let up at 2:19 and the rear end just becomes a different animal for that last minute or so. Sick control man, you adjusted your driving so quickly.
It was a nice surprise to see your car on the shuboxinc channel..super pumped to watch the laps and hopefully more to come..definitely there is room for 52s and maybe under..cheers and congrats on your build..
I could watch Tsukuba onboards all day. So many good Best Motoring memories on this track. Especially fun to watch this unruly beast trying to stay composed around it. That's a whole lotta car for a track this tight.
Was so stoked to see you pop up on ShuBoxInc's video of the event! 55.1 is a great time all things considering! Random thought, have you spoken with Mini GT (or any diecast company) about making your build into a 1:64 model? That or maybe get in touch with Turn 10 and see if they'd like to add you to Forza Horizon or something. I've made a replica of your build in Forza, but would be awesome to be able to drive around in something more official!
@@ferasqartoumy I've got a contact within Mattel if you'd like me to reach out? With Forza/Turn 10, I can shoot a message to someone on the dev team and see how to get that ball rolling.
Ive watched probably thousands of in cab time attack videos at Tsukuba by now, your car has got to be one of the fastest ive seen going from corner to corner. Its almost comical how little time you spend on the straights😅
The in-car took me back to growing up pounding out hot laps on OG Forza Motorsport, on OG Xbox! Doing the real thing is a lot more fun, but doing it digitally was much more affordable LOL Killer laps!
Despite issues you pointed out and running on lowest boost setting,55 seconds is very solid for very first time on Tsukuba. Both you and your Corvette really got my attention with results back and forth.Wishing you to develop a Corvette to level of Suzuki's now legendary S15 so both of you can battle it out on track
Can’t even remember when I found your channel Feras, but your driving always gave me a lot of joy whenever I came back to it. Glad to see you’re getting some much deserved recognition for your talent and dedication.
Wow this thing seems sorted. The torque coming in at low revs and just blowing the tires off is insane. The trans load-cell ignition strategy sounds buttery smooth as well. Someone has done an incredible job tuning
Love this thing and nice work in there managing. I like the short shifts, the car has so much torque you barely lose anything and gain the traction. That sequential shifter seems like a lot of fun. Enjoy it.
@@CarOnStands You're not understanding the achievement of this Vette. These big cars usually aren't as nimble and as light as the small stuff. Small tight tracks even the playing field with all cars and almost always the big cars like the Vette suffer from not being as lightweight and nimble as the sub 900kg cars. But the fact this Vette banged off a 55sec shows it can do the tight stuff too! Bring that NA Civic to a big track like Road America or Road Atlanta and I promise you it will get its ass handed. Welcome to Tsukuba Circuit, the holy land of time attack! Looking at the on-board footage, it appeared that the drivers were not sure which gear to drive as the gear ratios did not match the course in all areas of the track. I think that if the gear ratios are optimized for Tsukuba, the times can be improved even more.
55.1 Just testing lots to change and improve. TC was not working and we were on the lowest boost setting. This is literally the first 5 laps ever around Tsukuba and on a new tire to be legal to compete in Feb.
Seems like all you have to do is really dial in the traction on the low speed corners. I mean the traction coming out of those three corners and he got something crazy because it seems like he’s just losing traction trying to get on the power coming out of the Lois returns so once he can dial that in. Yeah he’s good.

How in the hell does this make such good traction with 1300 hp? Like extreme driver skill only? I'm shooting for 530whp with my 2400lb 240sx, but honestly 450whp seems more reasonable for time attack. This vette is insane.

Feras's drifting experience certainly helped him there.
