I think people forget that these two grew up together--she moved into his house when she was 13, and they've been romantic since 15. They've been through a lot of trauma with each other, and a lot of good things as well. I feel like it's just more complicated than anyone can really speculate or comment on. They're the only ones who really know what's up in their relationship.
And they both went through being drug addicts. He more than forgives her he had a mansion built for her but just so they can co-parent. He loves her but they're not in a relationship.

The point being, they both are/were at fault. They both caused great pain, and they both are responsible. No doubt Em worked his a** off to get where he is, and the home (s) and provisions for his family. Not to minimize his success and sacrifices to get where he is... I feel it’s important to acknowledge her years of sacrifices and hard work as well - basically, as almost still a kid herself - running a household, raising small children - alone - working, fighting addiction, depression, emotional/mental duress from their relationship, night after night of Em’s massively public shaming of her and the traumatic physiological impact of that, of their life together, on-going, daily loneliness, (with no stable grandparent to help) - living out years virtually as a single parent. And without the added perks of fame, appreciation, affirmations, excitement, travel, and personal assistants serving her needs, troubleshooting challenges, support... all the while, not experiencing frequent reminders of how amazing, talented and deserving she is everyday... nor being idolized and supported like Em had been able to experience accompanying his hard work. Without her, he wouldn’t have been as able to catapult to the success he was having. (though she was also struggling with addiction at the time, as was he). I would imagine there were many areas of hard work and sacrifices she gave that she didn’t sign up for. He made sacrifices and didn’t sign up for many of those areas either. I wouldn’t want to minimize either Em’s or Kim’s experiences and all they went through.
I love Eminem so much and I’ve been here since the beginning, decades ago. BUT, I had to roll my eyes a little bit when he released that statement saying he won’t participate in things like this for the sake of their children, after releasing song after song about their mother, all of which made this minor interview compared to his songs, look like Sesame Street compared to Sons of Anarchy. Again, I love and will always love Eminem - but man, the guy is definitely one of those “when I do it, it’s fine, when you do it, you’re awful” type of guys.

I relate to her a lot with her experience with loving a toxic man. I think what he will soon realize is that he caused the love of his life was so damaged by his toxicity she ended up slowly adopting the behaviors he judged so harshly on his mother. Good interview. From listening to Eminem's songs, it kind of influences you to believe that she's a little crazy. In this interview, you can clearly tell she's a sane, rational woman. She's made lots of mistakes, but she has a good heart and is a good person. For some reason, I can see that her and Em probably got into a lot of bad fights where they both said a bunch of crazy stuff that they didn't mean.
Except God's not real, so nobody will really know what went on behind closed doors. Maybe if Hailie decides to speak out one day we'll see another view on things, but until then, we will never truly know.

And without the added perks of fame, appreciation, affirmations, excitement, travel, and personal assistants serving her needs, troubleshooting challenges, support... all the while, not experiencing frequent reminders of how amazing, talented and deserving she is everyday... nor being idolized and supported like Em had been able to experience accompanying his hard work. Without her, he wouldn’t have been as able to catapult to the success he was having. (though she was also struggling with addiction at the time, as was he).
I would imagine there were many areas of hard work and sacrifices she gave that she didn’t sign up for. He made sacrifices and didn’t sign up for many of those areas either. I wouldn’t want to minimize either Em’s or Kim’s experiences and all they went through.

I relate to her a lot with her experience with loving a toxic man. I think what he will soon realize is that he caused the love of his life was so damaged by his toxicity she ended up slowly adopting the behaviors he judged so harshly on his mother. Good interview. From listening to Eminem's songs, it kind of influences you to believe that she's a little crazy. In this interview, you can clearly tell she's a sane, rational woman. She's made lots of mistakes, but she has a good heart and is a good person. For some reason, I can see that her and Em probably got into a lot of bad fights where they both said a bunch of crazy stuff that they didn't mean.
