Very nice review, thanks for sharing. The non Avtex TV in my caravan has just gone bang. I like the improved smartness of the TV. I also liked your choice on RUclips channels as you were showing it on the review. I might have noticed my very self appear (not that I rewound it to show Mandy or anything :-) ) Yep, I'm convinced I will buy one, the newer version has all the things my version doesn't. That can be retired to the bedroom. All I need to do now, is find a tape measure and make sure the 27 inch can fit. Thanks again, very good review and why don't you have more subs?
If you thought for one second it was a coincidence you were in the video it wasn’t ha. Just like mr trudgian was featured. You all played a part in me learning about how to ‘caravan’ and I like to feature you guys for helping me. I’m so grateful for your comments I can honestly say the tv and sound bar are fantastic. I used it this weekend at Chatsworth and really love it. I was orgia nylon going for the 24” but so glad I went 27” so if it does fit , go for it. I must admit it does wound me a little when I put so much effort into each video And they don’t get that many views. But hopefully over time they will mate. The good thing is I do it because I love being creative so I’m too worried about the views. I’d more like to grow a community of followers that like what I do but that will take time I guess. Thankyou for taking the time to write a comment. I really do appreciate feedback from other creators.
@@thebigtow It does take time to get traction. BTW spot on about building a community, that’s they way I look at it as well. I had a big jump in subs by writing off my caravan, people do like a drama 😂 It’s bloody hard work editing vlogs and I appreciate the amount of time that would have taken. I’ve heard others mention your channel in a positive way too. I think the secret is regular vlogs. Of course if you do more regular vlogs the editing has to take a back seat. I’ve sat there for days editing. But mostly now I scale back of the effects etc so editing takes less time which allows for more regular vlogs. Anyway, I don’t want to teach you how to suck eggs and all that 😂 I’m off to convince Mandy to let me buy one. Absolute fantastic review. I came here from a shout out from Graham caravan vlogger as im also looking at a new tv for my caravan. Had an avtex about 16 years ago as a freebie on a new caravan purchase back then. But since then over the years have just took domestic TV's. But after watching this i have just ordered the 27inch avtex thinking about the sound bar later. I have to say i have watched all your videos and they are great true professional, do you do presenting for a living as you are certainly very good. As you say you are new to caravanning you certainly dont appear to be. Need to see some trip out videos now for us to see. Happy Caravanning & a Big Thumbs UP👍
Hey. I’m so grateful for your comment. I really am. You will not be disappointed in your tv I can assure you. As it happens almost 20 years ago I worked on cruise ships as a presenter/host. But not presented since then. This was a way for me to scratch an itch to present again as well as give me an opportunity to flex my creativity. I really appreciate your kind words and as ot happens. The nex set of videos are exactly that. Our first trip away. Which was exactly a year ago this weekend. It’s coming soon…. Ish lol
A great review, I own the 24” version of this TV with sound bar and mirror all your comments. I have had dealings with Avtex customer support and have to say it is 2nd to none, so should you buy an Avtex Tv and have problems, their customer service will sort you out no issues. I am a very happy Avtex customer.
Fantastic in-depth review. When I was looking at these TV’s last year, I couldn’t warrant spending that amount of money and there wasn’t a lot of information about to back up there price they are. If this review was out 4 months ago I no don’t would have just gone out and got one, It’s impressive. Definitely will be the TV to have when we upgrade, unfortunately not for some time! Great review! We have the 24” version along with sound-bar and thinks it’s by far the best option when touring with a caravan. One thing I wish Avtex would do is make the tv stand support the sound-bar in situations where the tv can’t be mounted. All it needs is a stand that positions the tv slightly higher and allows the sound-bar to stand under the screen. Looking forward to more great content. All the best Alan

Hi just spoken to Avtex who guided me to your video. Great review and well filmed. It definitely took a lot of effort to get that shot. When you speak to Avtex how about suggesting a replacement taller stand that present owners can purchase to mount to speaker as suggested, not to forget about ensuring the upward firing speakers are not blocked. 🤔😁👍
I've always liked a "BEVELED EDGE" myself...just a suggestion , when traveling from site to site put the TV on the bed between the blankets with the screen down and tuck it in good and tight...just remember to take it out before going to sleep!!.🤣🤣❤️🇬🇧

We are, however, facing the same issue you mentioned regarding the over-saturation of the image. I've had a bit of the play with the settings but it always ends up washed out and generally not as good. Do you have any recommendations or tips on which settings need changing to slightly lower the colour saturation? Thanks, Ash.
Hey Ash. Fantastic, really glad you like it. It’s funny because only a few weeks ago I was playing my colour settings. Give me a couple of days and power it up and send you over my settings see if you prefer them. Sometimes colour profiles can be a personal preference. And it really does depend what your watching. You absolutely could. But there would be no sound coming from the TV remember. As much as rear speakers are great having your centre channel audio coming from behind you when the visuals are infront of you would be quite a unique experience I suppose. But not one many would opt for. But as you said. It’s perfectly capable of doing so.
Free prob isn’t the right word as this video took me 2 months to make. Trade off would be better word. Do you dislike everything you have ever paid for? Thankyou for your comment though and I appreciate you watching. R

Connect the sound bar to the tv and there is no need for bracket as the tv sits on top of it.

Can you not connect the soundbar to the TV via Bluetooth so you could stick the soundbar behind you for instance ?

It is yes. But in my opinion not only worth it but a must if you have any niggle about nice audio.
Every thing is great when you get them free. The rest of us have to pay for them.
