    Hi Provost Fam!
Omg, one of my first, favorite first Disneyland books that I ever picked up for the first time as a young child was Disneyland: The First 35 Years. !!!!! 10 years after yours!
Disneyland has been my Place, for as long as I’ve been alive. 38 years!
Met my boyfriend at Trader Sam’s.
    First cruise was on Disney.
Just such an important element in my life.
In 2021 I got incredibly sick, for the majority of that year- and into 2022.
I lost my ability to write, and walk.
With a lot of help and therapy,
I managed to walk through The Castle, earlier this year.
    Disney Magic!
    Thanks for sharing!
    Cheers! ❤

Hey Chris! I’m sending this to you from Cumming, Georgia at 8:00 pm. My name is Chad Randle. I am from Las Vegas, Nevada. Born and raised. I was the show Director of “Star Trek The Experience. Live interactive show that emerges you in a Star Trek episode. It’s been a while..the show ran from 1998-2008. I’m living and taking care of my mother who is the best thing in the world. I’m honored to give back to her. I’ve been watching for a while. What makes me watch you is your positive reinforcement. When you stop to talk to us and say “ you are special” it brings tears to my eyes and I really appreciate that time you take to say it every video. It means a lot to me and I watch not only for the Disney, but your positive message. There is so much pain in the world..more than ever before! That positive speaks waves! Thank you Chris! You are truly a blessing! Such a nice guy..I appreciate you!

Star Trek the experience was sooo fun. We live in Texas and went to Vegas for first time in 2005. Went to Star Trek convention and met Shatner, Stewart and Spiner. The convention was in same hotel as ST experience so we did that after.

      Hey Chad!
I grew up in Vegas (born in 89) and as an eleven year old, and Star Trek fledgling, my dad took me to Star Trek: The Experience and I cannot tell you how much it blew my mind and made a mark on my childhood. I had watched the four TNG movies and a handful of episodes at my cousins’ houses, so I knew the basics of ST. However, going through he ride, walking around Quark’s Bar, and seeing all the replicas and souvenirs really opened my eyes to both Trek, but more importantly, it made me love being a local as that exhibit/experience was our own “type of Disneyland.” Meaning, it was special. Similar to The Wizard of Oz exhibit at the MGM, as well as Grand Slam Canyon , the Treasure Island Pirate Show, and Wet N Wild.
You and your team helped make Vegas fantastic, and I wanted to thank you for indirectly making my childhood special.

I live in Oregon. As a kid, I lived down in Garden Grove and used to spend summer nights with my brother and sister watching the Disney fireworks from the roof of our house. My Dad, according to what I remember, was involved in the insurance of Space Mountain. As a kid, I kept track of every visit (at least most of them). Current count is 168 (might be off one or two). I am around your age. I am passionate about backpacking, but only like to do off-trail backpacking. My Halloween and Christmas displays are highly Disney influenced. I watch just about every Disney movie that comes out. When I go to Disneyland (I try to go the first few weeks in December), I go back to around the age of eight. I feel my youth flood back in. I love your kindness, humor, and spirit. It reminds me a lot of my own.

Hi, my name is Steve, my favorite color is purple, and after 40 years I'm finally coming back to Disneyland (I was 9 at the time, you do the math). I found your channel during the pandemic looking up not only movie Easter eggs but Disney Easter eggs. I am also a pun connoisseur (What's the difference between a really good joke and a fart joke? One's a GutBuster, the other is a ButtGuster.) But the one thing I truly love is the part of recent videos when you talk directly to me (and everyone else watching the video) telling everyone how special we are. Just that is not going to help anybody, but it is a step in the right direction, and it is just special enough to tip the balance in the right direction. Please keep up the good work, I hope to see you when I visit this summer, and don't stop telling puns until they're full groan.

I live 2 hours from Victoria, Canada by boat. In Washington! It's a slice of heaven. I was born in the midwest but once we moved to CA I'd visit Disneyland once a year. Gradnight, opening of Indiana Jones... later returned when my son turned 4. We would drive 3 hours one way just to go to ElecTRONica. Once annual passes got pricey we had to stop going. My son grew up to be a nerd like me and is a cyber warrior, so proud of his master communication skills and his work as a good guy. I am homebound now but play Dreamlight Valley for my Disney fix! Fun fact my dad worked at Disneyland in 1959 and I have some stories you'd love!

I live 15 minutes from Disneyland. Went to Disneyland for the first time when I was 10 and flew down from San Francisco, stayed at the Disneyland Hotel. Goofy scared me and made me cry - one thing I still remember. I grew up moved to So. California, went to Disneyland many times. That is when they had the coupon books - E ticket rides. Eventually married raised 4 kids took them to Disneyland quite often. Now they are grown we have 9 grandchildren. Unfortunately Disneyland is now unaffordable for us to go back. Many of our grandchildren have never been. I wish it were more affordable but we still have them memories. Love your videos - makes me feel like I am there.

So we are in northern ca. Father used to take me to Disney in one capacity or other every year; typically it was Disneyland but sometimes it was Disney world or euro Disney. We used to stay at Grand California or Grand Floridian or the Disneyland Hôtel. I have great memories with my father at all three places. I’m an opera singer by training but currently work in an office. I live with my girlfriend in an apartment and just got back from Disney a few months ago. I’m making payments toward our next Disney trip. Despite my family no longer speaking to me; I refuse to let Disney annual trip die with my new family :)
I finally got my autism diagnosis! That was amazing. It’s a small world is my favourite ride full stop followed distantly by pirates of the Caribbean. This year was my second time being able to celebrate Christmas! And this year’s Disney trip with my girlfriend was the first time I had ever gotten to ride the haunted mansion. We went in early November so it was still changed for Christmas and next time it won’t be open but the time after that I’ll get to see it for the first time with it’s base facade and I can’t wait for that. Star Wars is my favourite thing ever. I’ve been playing SWTOR since pre bata because my dad has inns in all sorts of tech spaces. Empire strikes back is my favourite movie of all time. Clone wars is my favourite show of all time. Warm cookies are the best treat ever! Couldn’t agree more!
    Favourite food: salmon
Favourite colour: black and electric midnight purple are tied
My favourite song is a tie between It’s a Small World from Disney and As the World Falls Down from Labyrinth by David Bowie.

Hi Chris, Amanda, Miles and Cabo! My name is Pennye Quick and I live where the Redwoods meet the Sea in NOR CA. I am a reading specialist at a local school. I’m lucky enough to work with my husband of 37 years. I have been following you for almost a year and just love your enthusiasm and positive messages you always give us. My favorite movie is Return of the Jedi. I am a HUGE Star Wars Fan. I love sci if movies and all thing Marvel! My family also loves the Harry Potter books and films. 2 years ago I took my daughter and husband to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in SF. I grew up loving Broadway plays and musicals. I even got to take my family to see the Lion King on Broadway. That was a highlight of my life. On the same trip we got to see the NY Yankees play in Yankee Stadium. That’s my favorite baseball team. Since my husband is a PE teacher and coach, I’ve had to learn to like most sports. My kids played soccer, baseball, basketball, tennis and golf. I just watch. My kids are both grown so now we are waiting for our first grandson to be born so I can introduce him to all things Disney. For our 5th wedding anniversary, we went to WDW. That was so long ago and we would love to go again. Someday, I hope to meet you in person. Oh and when I first went to college my major was communications. I ended up getting a degree in Marketing and Advertising. Then I went to school and became a nail tech until I had children. I went back to school and got more units in early ed and taught preschool. I only did that while my son was in preschool and then I was home until my youngest went into 4th grade. I worked in Special Ed for 15 years and then I became a reading specialist. I hope I didn’t give too much info and that you enjoy learning about me as much as I love learning about you!

My name is Dani (30F) and I live in Utah County, UT (born and raised). I've been a fan of all things Disney as that is what my parents raised me on.
My first time going to Disneyland was when I was only 8 and it was so amazing! After that first time I was HOOKED.
I'm one that absolutely loves the behind-the-scenes things of how things work and the true magic that makes Disney, Disney.
My absolute favorite movie is Tron: Legacy (I still absolutely love Tron, but Legacy holds a more special part of my heart).
The last time I went to Disneyland was going with my spouse for his first time and it was so magical even during 2020.

Hi Provost family- I grew up in Sacramento, California. My early life started out with a long battle with brain cancer and had to spend countless days in the hospital. I am now a survivor of brain cancer for many years. After my battle ended, I got the chance of a lifetime to be chosen by the Make A Wish foundation for one trip only of my choice. My choice I chose was Disney World and boy howdy is that park just quite amazing. Now as an adult, I go to school to study filmmaking and on the side, I volunteer at an animal shelter and also a nursing home. During my downtime, I like to watch movies, hang out with my friends, listen to music, read books, and exercise. My favorite types of movies are horror movies specifically the paranormal ghost type. My favorite horror movie of all time is The Conjuring, that movie scared the daylights out of me when I first saw it. I just started getting back into reading books and the type of books I enjoy are nonfiction such as biography, historical, and the like.
Disneyland: My family and I used to be annual passholders for many years. We would go to Disneyland 5-6 times a year. Now, I don't go to Disneyland as much as I would love to because of how expensive the park has gotten these days. My favorite ride at Disneyland is Indiana Jones. That ride has been around for many years and it's special effects haven't missed a beat. Walt Disney created a park with such a definitive purpose and he had the genius mind to fight through those challenges to achieve it.

    Hi Chris!
I'm a Bay Area native who used to go maybe once every few years with my family as a kid but stopped going later on during my teen years. Ended up grabbing an AP back in 2015 with a bunch of my close friends/family and we'd take a few trips a year. I'd even come down from the Bay for a short solo trip every other month or so (I'd leave Friday night, spend the whole day at Disney on Saturday, and leave Sunday morning) and my love for the Parks was reignited. It was a bit tough trying to squeeze everything I wanted to do in one single day but it was always loads of fun to experience the Parks whenever I could make it down even just for a day.
Now, at 30 years old, I currently reside in Socal for work and I managed to get a Magic Key and it's been one of the greatest purchases I've ever made! Now that I'm only a short drive away from the Parks, I LOVE being able to do as I please whenever I'm there (usually twice a month or so). Some days, I really crave adrenaline and I'll ride a bunch of attractions. Most days, I'll take my sweet time with a cup of coffee and just walk around and find a spot to journal, people watch, and take in the ambience. There's something special about just taking in the Park and having all worries just disappear! I also really love playing Pokemon Go there as well! I also really appreciate just having access to the Parks and not feel pressured to do everything with limited time like I used to experience. I do tend to only go solo these days since I don't know many people down here but the interactions I have with park-goers and CMs are always fun times!
As far as a little about me, in my free time I'm usually playing PC games, listening to music, or watching Twitch streams/RUclips. I've recently gotten into higher end audio gear and have been really enjoying listening to music in a more detailed and fun way. I'm really big on FPS games, like VALORANT, and as of recently I've been enjoying a game called The Finals. My favorite attraction at Disneyland is The Haunted Mansion and my favorite at DCA is Guardians.
Thanks for creating a safe place here with your channel and I'm glad to be a part of this community. We appreciate you!!

Christ, we met once at Disneyland, May 2022. My son told me he had just seen you, and I raced back to see if I could. Your reaction to me was so delightful and SHOCKED me so that my mind went out, and I didn't truly introduce myself. I live in Orem now, after over 30 years in Alpine The move wasn't exactly voluntary. When I was a little boy, about 8 (?), we had driven to California, as we did every year, to visit my dad's siblings. While visiting my aunt, my uncle, who LOVED this new thing called Disneyland which had opened the year before, took us there. He and I were flying, with my parents in tow! It was a thrill for a kid from Wisconsin, where frivolity was kind of frowned on. No, really! I remember looking back at my mom and dad as Uncle Ed delightedly led me down Main Street. Mom and dad were NOT smiling. I think living through the Depression and both working to make ends meet took its toll. And they didn't call it "the Depression" for nothing. Anyway, the following year, we again went to California. Only this time I was ready. "Can we go to Disneyland?" "I wanna go to Disneyland." "Are we going to Disneyland?" "Can we go..." and on and on. FInally, Mom and Dad said... "OK!!! We'll go to Disneyland!" I was tickled. But back then, you bought entry, and then bought a book of tickets for the rides. We got to the gate, they went to the ticket booth, and said to me, "But you can't go on any rides." Imaging telling a 9 or 10 year old that. I was heartbroken. And no, it wasn't fun for me. And my parents were shocked and angry that I wasn't thrilled to go to Disneyland. Remember, back then, children were not supposed to act like children. But that did something to my little mind. I became addicted to Disneyland. I couldn't do much about it until later in life. But when we lived in Reseda, we would take our boys and the rule was HAVE FUN. So later, when I could afford to take grandchildren, I made a point of saving so we could HAVE FUN. I figured last May 2022 was my last trip there. But when we got home, and while reporting the trip to an older son, he said in passing, "Hmm. I've never seen California Adventure." My immediate response "LET'S GO!" So he and I went to Oogie Boogie that October. I went through the ordeal and got tickets for Oogie Boogie. And immediately thought, "WHAT HAVE I DONE???" The final trip. And then CHRIS PROVOST DID A VIDEO AND SAID, "THEY'RE RAISING THE PRICES! BUT IF YOU CALL GET AWAY TODAY BEFORE OCT 28, YOU CAN GET SUCH A DEAL...!!!" Without thought, I did. And then thought, "WHAT HAVE I DONE???" So last November, I took my older son, my youngest son and daughter-in-law and the little girls (4 years old) for the Christmas stuff. Now, I am frugal. I really wanted to save money. So I found this hotel... The Grand Californian. "WHAT HAVE I DONE???" I couldn't believe I did that. But I did. And IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!! WONDERFUL! And it destroyed me. Made it impossible for me to enjoy any other hotel in the area. But all that splurge because some parents told a little boy, "You can't go on any rides." That's a little about me and Disneyland. OH! And by the way, back in about 1972, after I got out of the Army, my parents retired in Wisconsin and moved to Encino, and my dad went to work in a nursery there. He was a Master Gardener. And guess who became a friend of his... Diane Disney. He would tell me how he would tease her when she came in to the nursery to see him (everyone liked him). "Diane, when are you going to get me tickets for Disneyland?" And she would always say, "Now Rick. You know that the family has nothing to do with it anymore." So that is it. Now I am an old man. I live all by myself. And work so I can have the money to do stuff with my grandchildren.

Loved reading about you and your memories. Your day at D-Land with no rides was CRUSHING to read about. I experienced something similar as a child. My mother has always been a shopoholic. Anytime the family went on vacation, my mom's focus was to go through EVERY high-end store available. My dad and I hated it, as we both loved adventure and the great outdoors. I'm from the CA bay area and one of my other favorite places ever besides D-Land is Santa Cruz and the beach boardwalk. I remember a few times that I was dragged to spend a weekend day in Santa Cruz so that my mom could shop. I dreaded it so much that I would try to negotiate ahead of time, always asking if we would go to the Boardwalk too. My mom's classic answer was always "Maybe." Sometimes we would go. My dad loved the beach. But I remember one time in particular, suffering through hours upon hours of shop after shop while my mom tried on piles of clothes while my dad and I had nothing else to do but wait. I kept whining about wanting to go to the boardwalk as it got later and later. Guess what? After all that suffering, she said, "Nah, it's getting too late and you have school tomorrow." I couldn't believe it as we entered the highway headed home. 😢

@@calihipechik7657 Wow! What a great story! And you reminded me of that well-used "Maybe." Which always really meant "No." I caught myself telling my little boys "Maybe." And stopped myself. I knew what I really meant. So I FORCED myself. "YES! Let's do that!" I found even though it might not have been what I originally wanted, I HAD FUN.

Hi Chris. Finally saw/met you at DL this past summer. I was there for the Disney 100, my 65th birthday and my wife and my 40th wedding anniversary. We have a brick at DL. We honeymooned at DL in 82 and have been back almost every year and have taken all our (8) kids. A few times we've gone to WDW. We are from WA state. I love Disney (mostly into Walt"s creativity), travel, coffee and Jesus. I do church tech and theater (I have most of my life). And I am the author of 16 books. One of my sons was a cast member through the college program. I once entered a Disney design contest, didn't win but did get a interview call for Imagineering (wasn't hired). I love creativity.
I appreciate your positive messages. I have the feeling that you've lost some one dear. I am sorry for that. Keep looking up.

Hi Chris, I was a Disneyland Cast member in the early nineties. I worked on The Jungle Cruise, The Tiki Room, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean and many other attractions. My favorite attraction to work on was the Jungle cruise. I was 5 years old the first time I went to Disneyland and the first ride I went on was the Jungle Cruise. When we got off the boat, I told my parents that is what I wanted to be when I grew up. After I left Disneyland, I moved back to my home state of Minnesota. The Last time I visited Disneyland it was 20 years, so I very much enjoy watching your videos. Not only because I miss Disneyland but also you have the same kind of sense of humor that I have. I am a huge Disney, LOTR, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Narnia kind of nerd. I am also an artist and a puppeteer.

I don't need much of a reason to come to Disneyland. I am an Inspire Magic Key Holder. I have been a Cast Member. My favorite Disney Character is the Cheshire Cat.

I think puns are the ultimate demonstration of wit - my husband does not agree..lol. Growing up, going to any Disney park was such an epic and rare journey. We started going last year after I caught myself wondering what younger me would say if she knew I wasn't taking advantage of living within an hour of Disneyland. I had to shed a bit of my adult cynicism (big companies = grr) but glad I did. I find the logistics of running and marketing the parks fascinating.

Hi Provost Family! I’m also from Oregon. I’ve lived here my whole life. I’m 38 in a couple weeks and the last time I got to go to Disneyland was when I was 13. It is one of my greatest memories. We didn’t have a lot of money growing up so it was a big deal to travel. That same year my family split up so Disneyland will always remind me of better times. I found your videos a few years ago looking for everything I could about Disneyland. Your enthusiasm and positivity perfectly encompasses my feelings towards Disneyland. I hope to go back some day soon but in the mean time your videos help me get a little piece of that feeling only Disneyland can give. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for the great videos!

I’m from Murray, Utah originally and now live in Eagle Mountain, Utah. Been going to Disneyland all my life. I’d go every month if we could afford it. But instead me and my wife and two adult daughters go every few years. I too became interested in Disneyland history after reading a book I bought from Disneyland. I am a lover of history in general as well. Favorite ride is Space Mountain. I’ve spent most of my career in sales. I haven’t worked for the last seven years because of severe anxiety and OCD though. Favorite movie is End Game even though I’m a bigger fan of Star Wars over all. I’m a big movie buff. Favorite dessert is a chocolate chip cookie. Favorite food is a meatball sub with mayonnaise and no cheese. Favorite sports are basketball and tennis. Never been a Utah Jazz fan. I met you at Fan X in Salt Lake City two years ago. You were so kind. Love your channel!!! Especially the Secrets Revealed episodes. Keep being such a force for good out there.

Hi! My name is Meghan and I'm from Oregon. My parents don't really like amusement parks or Disney (gasp!) so I never went to Disney parks growing up. The one exception: When I was 10, we did a cross country road trip from Oregon to Florida and back. When we got to Florida, my parents let my brothers and I have one day at Disney: Half a day in Magic Kingdom and half a day in Epcot! That was it.
I didn't go to Disneyland until I was an adult in college!
So now with my 2 daughters, I wanted them to know Disneyland so we go every 2 years. I love Disney and I love all your videos! Oh, I'm a huge Stephen King fan too!

Hi Chris! My name is Kim and I found you in 2022 when I was home sick with covid. I already had plans to go to Disneyland that Oct to meet up with one of my cousins & btw we had such a blast.
Growing up my parents introduced me to Disney and I'm sure we saw all of the Disney movies at the drive in that came out way back then. I think the first movie i really, really remember was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang followed by The Absent Minded Professor.
I grew up & still live in the SF Bay Area of California. I've been a widowed single Mom to 2 now grown adult sons the past 23 years.
I've been a transit bus driver going on 5 1/2 years and I love it. Between the passengers & road conditions it's like that line from Forrest Gump in that "you never know what you're going to get". But the majority of the time both are good.
I still enjoy going to see movies. Both of my sons work at one of our local movie theaters and I'm blessed that my oldest son tends to always bring me as his guest to see movies. I like good comedies, drama and of course some action movies. I recently saw "The Boys in The Boat" and highly recommended for anyone to go see it.
When I'm not at work or seeing movies i do like to cook and bake and do both often. Especially for either of my 2 church home groups as well as just trying to meal prep for when i am working. Btw, I found a recipe for a version of that peanut butter blondie you shared with all of us and I've since had 2 of them last year. I'll let you know how it turns out.
In June of 2023 I discovered the world of crossit and have enjoyed the fun challenge of getting into better shape at almost 60. I never knew I'd like lifting weights, but I do.
Chris thank you so much for your positive messages to us in each of your videos. This past year has been a bit rough for my little family. Your videos always help brighten my day. You even have me thinking of visiting Disneyland Paris, which if I can make it happen, I'll be going sometime in 2025. Anyway, thank you Chris and you too Amanda and Miles for all that you do. I pray to some day to be able to meet you at either of the parks. Take care.😊

Hi Chris. My name is also Christopher. I live right here in San Diego County, about 45 min from Disneyland. I've been an annual passholder since I was 5. Made such WONDERFUL memories with family and friends there. Big history nerd. Joe Rohde is a close family friend, my dad's best friend from highschool and he actually lived for a time at my grandma's house in our spare bedroom! Homie used to literally wear a CAPE to school that my grandma made him (idk why)... he then proceeded to join a talent show at the school and attempted a magic trick where he then set the cape on fire accidentally. Chief imagineer at Disney a few years later. Needless to say, I have a DEEP connection to Disney. I myself am a freelance video editor (if ya ever need anything *wink wink nudge nudge*), but I've mainly been doing work for Tom Petty and the Heatbreakers estate. I keep a toothbrush at the bass players house haha! Anyways, I love love love your content, it often makes me smile or even tear up a bit on a rough day. Keep doing as you are. Oh, and I also know most of the "secret" facts you reveal muahaha

    Hey Chris ,
Happy to share a bit about me with the Provost On-Line Community..
    I Live in Highland Utah,
Father of 8 amazing Kiddos and 2 (soon to be 3) Grandkids.
    I love Disneyland because!...
My Grandpa took me to Disneyland for the first time when I was about 7 or 8 in response to my world fallig apart… My mom and us kiddos fled from an abusive situation… For the first time in my life I felt the Joy, fun, happiness, and celebaration that Disneyland offered. I wanted more of that in my life. I have since that time. Married (honeymoon to Disneyland of course) had a successful career and have taken my kids to Disneyland every 18-24 months.
I Love Disney History, Hidden Mickeys in the park. Riding all the rides, seeing all the shows in the park. Staying at Aulauni. Streaming videos of the parks on a regular basis.
And I even visited Marceline Missouri. Walts Childhood home this last summer as part of a Family Vacation.
I Love to play PINBALL and I own two machines set on freeplay in the family Room.
The Yankees are my Baseball team ever since my Childhood T.V. Hero MacGyver wore a Yankees hat.
I LOVE KIND PEOPLE, PLAYING BOARD GAMES, AND DOING FUN DOING KIND THINGS FOR STRANGERS.
YOU ALL MATTER AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE HERE ON EARTH AND IN THE PROVOST ONLINE FAMILY. REMEMBER ALWAYS YOU BELONG… THERE IS NOTING GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE THAT A LITTLE DISNEY MAGIC CANT MAKE A LITTLE BETTER.

Hello, I’m from western Massachusetts. I love Disney too, though I haven’t been in a number of years because I take care of my elderly mom. My first trip there was in 1979, and then again Epcot opened. I’ve been lots of times since. Those early memories are the fondest. I’ve been to Disneyland, half of my family lives in SoCal, hoping to get out there soon. I used to manage hotels, but these days I’m a full time artist. Hope to go for festival of the arts at some point.
I want you to know that a lot of these days with my mom have been really hard, but when I come here and watch you, it always cheers me up. I am grateful for you guys, and for the words you always share about the world being a better place because each of us is here. Those words matter. A lot of us never hear that, especially those of us that are caregivers for loved ones.
Thank you and keep up the good work. 💕

Hi Chris! I'm from Germany and moved to the US almost 20 years ago. I went to Disney World twice as a kid, once when I was 5 years old, once as a teenager. I didn't go again until my kids were 4 and 1 and I attended a conference for Industrial-Organizational Psychology (my profession) in Anaheim and took the family with me. A year later, the same conference was in Orlando. That's all it took for us to catch the Disney bug! My husband wants to visit every park around the globe. We've done the US parks and Disneyland Paris, and we'll go to Japan this summer. Loved your world tour videos!!! I live in Pennsylvania. I grew up in California about an hour from Disneyland. I'm 40 years old. My family and I would go at least 2 or 3 times a year. I love Star Tours and Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm married with 3 stepdaughters and my oldest made me a Grumpy Opa. I served in the U.S. Army. I love Disney history as well as US military history. I remember when I would go to Disneyland that when we entered the park we would head into Tomorrowland and my first ride would always be Star Tours. I remember when DCA use to be the old parking lot for Disneyland. I love sci-fi, horror movies. I really like animated movies that Disney has made. I love taking pictures. I build model cars and planes. I've started doing the diamond paintings and I'm learning to do wood burning art. Something I cherish about one of my trips to Disneyland was going into Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln and watching that show. The part where you heard people talking about getting their picture taken and the assistant breaks the glass pane. I have enjoyed seeing the changes that Disney had done to the Disneyland Resort

Hi Chris. Im from Washington state and have lived in the pacific northwest for all of my 42 years. I found your videos about a year ago while planning a disneyland trip for my wife and 8yo daughter(her first trip). It had been 10 years since we had last visited the park and a lot had changed. As a kid we used to drive the 18+ hours from WA to Anaheim every other year to visit the park so many memories were made traveling with family. When i was very very young i got potty trained at orange land rv park as i wanted to swim in the pool but had to put on my big boy underwear before my parents would let me. On another trip (i was maybe 6 or 7) i contacted chicken pox and had to stay in the hotel (very bummed out kid there). I just want to thank you for all of your tips, advice, and positive words!

We enjoy your videos so much! Never commented on any video until now! I grew up in San Diego (big Padres fan too!) and essentially grew up at Disneyland (we went five or six times a year) back in the ol' ticket pack days. (I still use the term "E-Ticket" to describe a thrilling experience) and we were there for opening of Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain. But went away for college all the way to Montana and haven't been back to Disney since the mid- 90's. But my daughter is turning 10 and we figured it was time and we are heading there for three days next week! We will keep an eye out for you! And I have to say, love what you said about parents with kids at the parks. It really hit home after my experiences as a child at the Happiest Place on Earth. Keep the amazing work and really hope to see you so I can shake your hand!

Hi Provost Family! I'm in Washington State. I first went to Disneyland with my family when I was eleven years old and just loved it! I went once more as a teenager with my family. As an adult, I've tried to make trips as often as possible--a trip every couple of years or so. But now I've got my own kid and we're hitting every other year, with a hope to make it an annual visit. I love going to Disneyland/Disney California as it's just a special place to experience fun and magic as a family. It's a consistently lovely vacation--I feel so happy and relaxed there. My son and husband love it, too. Aside from Disney, we do a lot of camping and are 'outdoorsy.' We love Disney Marvel movies and the Star Wars universe. We enjoy a lot of the shows on Disney+ such as the new Percy Jackson series.
    Now for some quick info:
Favorite ride- the one I'm on!! also, Jungle Cruise at night, Pirates, Millennium Falcon, and Soarin' over California--the new Spiderman ride is pretty exceptional, too.
Favorite food at Disney--the Chicken dinner at the Plaza while watching fireworks, all the desserts.
Have not yet tried - the tigger tail you love over there in Pooh's corner, the new Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.
Never have I ever - actually gotten mouse ears for myself!!
(almost embarrassed to put that last one in there)
Odd similarity with Mr. Chris Provost - can make my family groan with PUNishment :-))
I like to watch your videos during my lunch. I work for a school district in special education. It can be stressful. Your positivity along with a quick, vicarious trip to Disneyland makes my lunch break a relaxing breath of fresh air. I truly appreciate how positive and informative you are. Thank you so much for what you do.

Hi PPP! I live in Tijuana, Mexico. I think I started watching and subscribed in 2019. The last time I went to Disneyland was in November of 2023, but before that I hadn't been since 2009 and I took my daughter for her first time. We followed the tips you gave in on of your videos about going to Disneyland for the first time or after a long time. We did rope drop, went to Peter Pan, Alice In Wonderland and Snow White, in that order. My hope is to go back in August.

Hi, Chris! I love knowing about you! Thanks for wanting to know about me! I was born in 1955 in southern California, so I never knew life without Disneyland. I went there 3-5.times a year until I moved to northern California in 1982. Since then, we're only able to go every 3-5 years or so. Your vlogs mean the world to me. Because of you, I can visit Disneyland every day. Thank you! I also have a Disney room, Walt's Room, as we call it. February 9, 1964, I saw THE BEATLES on Ed Sullivan and I've been in love ever since. My first concert was The Beatles at Dodger Stadium, August 28, 1966 when I was 11! My home looks like a shrine to The Beatles.❤ I grew up in a Dodgers household. Sandy Koufax was a god. Vin Scully was the man! I sort of drifed away from baseball until 2010, when my husband, a Giants fan, started watching way more games than usual! Long story short, I fell in love with the Giants. My brother said my husband turned me to the Dark Side! All in fun, though. When we play the Padres, if you guys beat us, I don't mind it as much because I think, "Well, at least Chris is happy." I would love to sit and talk with you for hours. We have a lot in common. I will close with this... My favorite Stephen King book is On Writing. Much love to you, Amanda and Miles!❤❤❤

Hi Chris. Like everybody else commenting here, I really enjoy your videos. We live up near Vancouver BC Canada. The last time I was at Disneyland was in 2014. It was just me and my two kids who were 12 and 10 at the time. I still consider it one of my favorite holidays. We have been with the kids once before and I have been 2 times myself. Also to Disney World once. Im in my mid 50's, but a huge kid at heart. We cant wait to get back to Disneyland again. Maybe one day we can. But watching your videos and the enjoyment you have walking through the parks brings back so many memories. Thank you for sharing all of your experiences, knowledge, secrets and everything else.

I live in Texas and my love for Disney started before I can remember. I’ve been to the parks 8 times in my lifetime and have 2 trips planned for this year, which is very rare. Our first trip this year is in May and there are 11 of us going together. My brother in law is coming for the first time and because of health issues he cannot ride a lot of the rides. So I introduced your channel to him so that he could watch your videos on secrets and facts about the parks. It will give him something to enjoy, looking for things you’ve talked about, while he’s waiting for us to ride. So thank you for what you do. It helps make Disneyland more enjoyable.

I live on the western slope of Colorado, we look more like Utah here than what people imagine Colorado. I've been a Disney fan since I was in junior high. That's when our local TV station started carrying old reruns of the Mickey Mouse club. When I was in high school our band got a chance to play on the Main Street parade. It took us 2 days by bus to get there! We had a 106 kids in our band. We also got to play at Knotts Berry farm. . I'm a retired elementary school teacher. I taught for a little over 30 years and still substitute. Thank you so much for your videos! I have a former first grade student who used to be a cast member at Disneyland. Special perks for her old 1st teacher, she would sign me in and I actually have gotten to drive the Mark Twain 2 different times!

Hi Chris, Amanda & Miles! I’m from the province of Manitoba in Canada. I’ve been to Disney World twice once as a child and again in 2018 with my husband and our 2 children. 2022 we went to Disneyland for the first time and fell in love. We can see ourselves visiting Disneyland more regularly in years to come. Thank you so much for your encouraging words in each video. When you mentioned love of Disney is passed on I couldn’t agree more, my mother loved Disney and she definitely passed that love onto me. She always said every kid no matter how old they are should go to Disney at least once. A little about myself, I enjoy running, reading and golf.

Mine and my wife's family are all Disney-a-holics! We try to make it to Disneyland at least once a year. Sometimes twice. A few of us have season passes (magic key) even though we live in Utah! We live in Ogden Utah pretty close to where my friends at Get-a-way Today offices are. We now have just about everything Disney themed at home and I just started buying, selling and collecting the amazing new Lorcana trading card game along with the rest of my TCG collecting, playing and selling. We have made it a rule that everyone has to turn 40 in the park. I am a professional photographer for my career and I set aside at least one day out of our usual 4 day passes just for taking photos around the park. We are headed down again next week even , the 13th-18th. I design and make everyone shirts / hoddies as many times for the trips as I can and they are very popular in the park. Myself and my kids like to bing your videos as we get closer to the trips. I am a live streamer and do both streaming, content creation and photography related work for Canon. That's me and us I a nutshell. Great video and it's nice to "actually" meet you!

Heyy! I'm from Australia, and go to Disneyland as much as I'm able - ideally every year or two, but covid threw that off for a bit. Been following the channel sinceeee early/mid? 2018 and had the pleasure of then meeting Amanda during our 2018 trip, then got to meet you both last May!
I went to Disneyland when I was 3 and then 6, and I've been obsessed ever since. Disneyland is the only place I ever travel to, save for one bucket list Broadway trip in 2022 - of which we did a week in Disney on the way back. I love the little facts and history lessons, and have been able to point out everything I know to my kids when we go. My favorite ride is the Haunted Mansion, but I also adore the Tiki Room because it's where I feel closest to my Pop. I know that watching that show, that same song, those same animatorics, it was all exactly what I looked at as a little girl sitting there with him. Every other ride I loved going on with him has had updates or even just given multiple new coats of paint, but the Tiki Room still sits there the same in its increasingly dilapidated glory and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Also a huge fan of Horror and Stephen King. Not a fan of any sport, we go nuts for Eurovision instead :P My favorite movie is The Nightmare Before Christmas, and has been since it came out and I was 1yo. Literally - we hired the VHS and I had to watch it daily and wouldn't let my mother take it back, the overdue fees ended up being over $100 so they let us keep it provided Mum just paid enough for them to get a new copy. My eldest son is Jack, our dog is Zero, my house is covered in NTBC art and merch. It's why we went in 2018 - for the 25th anniversary.
I highly appreciate everything you do on this channel, as it allows those of us who can't access Disneyland consistantly to live through you and still enjoy the parks from an ocean away. I assume it's partially a cultural thing but none of my friends or my husband have even a strong interest in Disney lore to match my obsession, so it's nice to have the interaction with someone who adores Disneyland too, even if it's one sided. Honestly, bring back the $1000 hang out patreon tier - I'll walk around spouting history and tolerating puns for a day!

Hi Chris! I'm a native Californian! Grew up in NorCal and now live in SoCal. First went to Disneyland after winning a contest as a newspaper delivery boy at the ripe old age of 14! Loved every moment. That's when they had ticket booklets and entry was less than $10! We stayed at a hotel across the street from Disneyland. I'm currently retired and now am a Cast Member at the Haunted Mansion. Look me up when you get a chance and I'll create magic for you and your party! No book recommendations, other than the bible, but love the Marvel movie Legend of the 10 Rings. Love watching Hallmark Christmas movies and KDramas with the wife.

Hi Chris, I grew up in a small town of 600 people in Delaware about 7 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. I currently live in Maryland about 25 miles from Washington, DC. I am a retired nurse. My first visit to a Disney park was Disneyland in 1974. A friend and I had never been on a plane and thought it would be exciting to fly from Maryland to California. It was exciting but overwhelming to a small town girl. I love traveling and have been to DisneyWorld about 5-6. Disneyland 6 times and Universal Studios. Our family loves sports. We have seen all MLB teams play in their home park. Love Wriggley Field and the Cubs as well as our home team, the Baltimore Orioles. Huge Steelers fan for football and Washington Wizards fan. My family loves to travel, but haven’t been able to travel as much over the past 9 years as I went through treatment for 4 episodes of cancer. I am doing much better and plan to travel more in the future. Love history and mystery books. Currently spending a lot of time crocheting for charity, donating chemo hats, baby blankets and prayer shawls. I have been blessed and enjoy giving back.

My favorite Disney characters are Mulan, Rapunzel, Belle, Winnie the Pooh, and Baymax. I’m also a big fan of Marvel and Star Wars. My favorite ride at Disneyland is Rise of the Resistance and my favorite ride at DCA is the Incredicoaster. My travel goal is to visit all of the international Disney parks. I always enjoy watching your channel. You’re always so positive and informative. Just keep doing what you are doing 😊.

As a baby boomer I grew up watching the Wonderful World of Disney and was enthralled with the footage Walt showed of Disneyland. I never have gotten to go there but been to Disney World many times. I joke about how I could sing the song "I've Been Everywhere" to the tune I've lived everywhere! I was born in Massachusetts, grew up in New Hampshire until age 15 when we moved to Tampa, Florida. I graduated in 1971 just when Disney World was opening. In Florida I lived in Tampa, Odessa, Temple Terrace, Tallahassee (at Florida State), Jacksonville, Ft. Lauderdale, and Ocala. Then moved to Manassas, Virginia, then Columbia, Maryland and back to Florida to Apopka. Then to Utah for 13 years and now in Kentucky for 7 years. Oh, and we lived in Grand Junction, Colorado for 5 weeks soon after marriage before we moved back to Jacksonville, Florida. It was while in Apopka we became annual passholders and spent a lot of time at Disney parks. My favorite is EPCOT. Favorite ride is Test Track. At the Magic Kingdom my favorite ride is Thunder Mountain. No real favorite rides at the other parks. I enjoy your videos and always love your puns. My son is a pun master so I am used to it. Thanks also for your kind words.
