Great job. I particularly liked how you remained so balanced and informative, how you repeatedly said it's not perfect, but was still full of praise, without being hyperbolic. The tips re: the gloves and installing the head was also useful. Your outside footage is awesome, the subtle shifts with the lighting and shadows, aided by the wind brought the figure to life and highlighted the crazy detail of the skin texture. I will probably rewatch this video several times. As for how it compares with Inart, subjectively I prefer this. I like the expression and the makeup direction it lot more. It looks like the Joker in full chaos mode, whereas with Inart, even though its makeup is thick, you can see more of Heath than the Joker if that makes any sense. I think this looks more like Heath and the Joker than what the JND prototype does. The latter has more detail and arguably looks more realistic, but it lacks the personality of this piece and its likeness makes him look too old and too full in the face.
Very clever review. It wasn't rushed, you waited until darkeness to show off the led diorama correctly and the start with the flames was incredible. Good job. As per the figure, prefer this than my inart rooted.
Dang I’m jealous can’t wait to get mine in hand. SideHoe is slacking! As for the box I don’t display the box, So I wouldn’t care if it came in a Target bag. Update: Seen the InArt Joker in person and I really wish RUclips would allow pics. The InArt Joker in person was pretty horrible/ horrendous not even sure how to describe it. Sure Hot Toys is not perfect but without a doubt is far superior to the competition.
Blown away. Better than inart in my opinion, but they both have their pluses and minuses. Can't wait to get this in from sideshow. It's fully paid off.
I think a lot of people forget what u said in this video. Which is collecting is supposed to fun and calming and exciting. Something to look forward to. In our negative society so many people look for something to complain about or be disappointed in instead of just relaxing and enjoying the experience. Not to mention being so ready to move on to the next item in there collection. It’s nice to just sit back and admire the item u just got and have it bring u joy. If ur collecting isn’t bringing u joy u should reevaluate what ur doing imo. Thanks for an amazing review
First of all, I interpreted Mr Mom's point as being "be patient, savour the moment, drink in the goodness" - kind of like making slow sweet love as opposed to a crude one-night-stand - and not a slight towards the more outspoken critics in the hobby. As for your point, respectfully, I disagree. I like hearing ALL opinions and appreciate people speaking their minds. I appreciate passion and don't get upset when other views do not reflect my own, if anything it stimulates my mind, compelling me to engage in debate. I enjoyed listening to Mr Mom's "negative" experience with his Jazzinc Batmobile just as much I have his effusive praise of this fine figure. IMO, it would be a very boring, sanitized, World if everyone acted like clapping Seals, lapping up everything, irrespective of obvious flaws. I enjoy listening to someone finding an imperfection/inaccuracy just as much as I do when somebody else will highligh impressive attention-to-detail(s). Many collectors have grown accustomed to a certain standard over the years, and so when a piece falls below those standards: case-in-point Hot Toys recent Batman Begins release, I think it's only right that collectors expose the failings, especially as prices continue to rise. If anything, some facets of "negative" feedback has allowed standards to get to where we are today. Now granted, there are those who can be very abrasive and tribalistic, and even if I think they're being obnoxious, I don't think it's right to condescend to them and tell them to go elsewhere. To do so, could be just as easily construed as being just as negative, albeit in a different way.
@@dangiambrone7350 I think u missed the point of my comment entirely, but ur untitled to interpret it however u want. Of course I wasn’t saying there shouldn’t be negative reviews that’s crazy. Anthony’s customs is one of my fav reviewers. It’s a reviewers job to tell u the good the bad and the ugly along with the great in a release. I meant collectors as a whole r to ready to jump on the hype train and then there ready to make there next purchase before they have even had time to enjoy what they have. Or every time they look at something all they see r the imperfections in it instead of everything that’s good about it. I’m as guilty of this as the next guy. That’s all I really meant. I wasn’t taking aim at anyone in particular sorry if u took it that way.
Fair enough, I got the wrong end of the stick. I appreciate your civil reply, and I do agree with your point about "being so ready to move on to the next item in their collection", something which I am very guilty of - chasing the next high without fully appreciating the latest addition. In my case it's one of the many symptoms of having a 1/6 addiction, something I hope will abate, though given the quality and quantity of todays releases, it's going to be very difficult.
@ no problem. I agree nothing beats the high u get from getting a new item in the mail it’s honestly the best part the anticipation of getting ur next new shiny thing and then the high fades and I need my fix again geez u would think I was talking about drugs buts that’s honestly how it feels to me
This figure is awesome but one thing I would of liked with this is if they gave him a glass accessory, when he spills the wine at the party that would of been a unique inclusion however still a phenomenal piece.
I decided to film literally on the shelf where my figures pose so the lighting you see if what it looks on display. And then my favorite is always the outdoor portions.
Great review as always... the small details and information counts! Really looking forward to this one... has been my most anticipated figure for this year. Should be delivered this evening.
" EVERYTHING BURNS PEOPLE " awesome intro. Yeah this figure is pretty nice. I have owned every version of the Joker from Hot Toys over the years. I still have my DX01 OG Joker sitting behind me. I also own the INART JOKER. You're damn right hot toys brought their A game with this one. They had to because in art nailed it for a mass produced figure. Right out the box it was so crispy and perfect. I do really like this head sculpt on the hot toys figure. Great review as always 🃏🃏🃏🃏🃏🃏👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🔥🔥👏🏻👏🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🏻🙌🏻🍻🍻🍻🍻🃏🃏🃏
The comparison video will be dropping weds. I mean they both are somewhat mass produced? Hot Toys claimed 3-4k limited? And I belive InArt sold over 5-6k units so the numbers are comparable but, for it to be InArt's first attempt vs Hot Toys like 3rd or 4th thats impressive!
The back of the head can be removed to access the inside of the sculpt. The teeth can be removed and swapped with the tongue to replicate scense when Heath was randomly licking his lips during the movie.
I can understand why they took so long to bring this out because when they first show The Joker it was a hook to attach to its leg and turn order for it to stand on its own but this time they use an acrylic Peg to put in one of the foot for it to stand which is pretty clever and I believe they're going to do that with the Indiana Jones
Who cares about the box lol. I have reworked a bunch of inart jokers and i didnt like it. Once i opened my dx32 (sculpted hair), i was instantly blown away. First ever joker in the collection and im glad i waited for one to finally drop.
thank you Jeremy casa for my kratos one toys, and now joker artisan on way sold out everywhere get yours now unstuck no eBay preorder no wait shipped express . awesome review Ryan thanks brother
Better then inart
One of the best reviews Ive seen so far on this one. I’ll definitely pick it up
Thanks for the support! Definitely worth grabbing

Thank you so much for the feedback!
Odd question. Is there a particular way to get the headsculpt to lock into the neck peg? I can't figure it out on mine...
Hey, nothing special to install the sculpt at least for me I was just delicate about doing it

Yeah inarts was bad.
I have a head to head comparison dropping tomorrow.

The head to head comparison will be dropping tomorrow stay tuned!
- I love The Joker because he has the best accessories.

Or honestly the detonator
Or a "try-outs" snapped pool cue. You could probably track down a 1/6 champagne glass.
@@dangiambrone7350 Yeah, that would of been cool too.
And black garbage bag when he was pretending to be dead man the possibilities are endless
Excellent review. Im sold! Your indoor lighting really made the sculpt pop. I dislike light -box reviews.

@@mr.momcollectibles YUP, great job.
Thank you!
Really AMAZING figure ❤.
It sure is!
Can’t wait for Sideshow to start shipping…..I got the sculpted hair version🔥🔥🔥
I’m sure you will love it
Great review as always... the small details and information counts! Really looking forward to this one... has been my most anticipated figure for this year. Should be delivered this evening.
Hope you enjoy it! Please let me know your thoughts!
that hot toys sculpt is miles better than my inart, were talking grail status now.
It is My humble opinion that You should SAVE All YOUR BOXES !!!
In my humble option you can help pay for the storage unit to store them all.
@mr.momcollectibles 🤣
Im going to take that a "no" lol
“Smoke free house” ha ha jk! Good review dude!
haha thank you!
Are the other hot toys head sculpts compatible to fit on this new joker body?
" EVERYTHING BURNS PEOPLE " awesome intro. Yeah this figure is pretty nice. I have owned every version of the Joker from Hot Toys over the years. I still have my DX01 OG Joker sitting behind me. What is the tongue accessory for?
The back of the head can be removed to access the inside of the sculpt. The teeth can be removed and swapped with the tongue to replicate scense when Heath was randomly licking his lips during the movie.
The intro is sick with the fire in the background!
Hahah thank you, not sure if it was made obvious but it was the Artisan Artbox I burned lol
@mr.momcollectibles lol I did not notice it to be honest, but I get it, boxes take so much room.
Where did u order yours?
Jeremy Casa at Plastic Hero Collectibles -- Link in the video
I can understand why they took so long to bring this out because when they first show The Joker it was a hook to attach to its leg and turn order for it to stand on its own but this time they use an acrylic Peg to put in one of the foot for it to stand which is pretty clever and I believe they're going to do that with the Indiana Jones
I thought the Indiana Jones was an Ankle grabber? Will be interesting to see if they stay with that or change it to this method.
Who cares about the box lol. I have reworked a bunch of inart jokers and i didnt like it. Once i opened my dx32 (sculpted hair), i was instantly blown away. First ever joker in the collection and im glad i waited for one to finally drop.
You would be surprised how many love the box.
That is Your perogitive...😉

Glad I could help
This is the ultimate Ledger Joker IMO. The InArt looks cool with the jail cell base but it’s way overpriced.
Price is subjective, to me even this hot toys figures is heavy price for what it offers
That eye system is a pain man, hair needs restyling again, that’s the only thing I do not like, other than that…nice!
