Hot Toys absolutely dominated Inart. There's no doubt about it. The Inart version looks pretty good, but it's nowhere near as good as the Hot Toys release. As nice as the DX11 was and still is, the DX32 is a significant improvement when compared to it. The head sculpt is a 100% accurate representation of actor Heath Ledger. God rest his soul. The portrait is phenomenal for sure. The outfit looks great. The overall sculpt, paint application, and details are top notch. The figure comes included with a lot of accessories as well. Solid work on the part of Hot Toys! They've knocked it out of the park with Bane and now The Joker. As much criticism as they've gotten at times for a lack of effort, there are instances when they absolutely deliver and this one of those times. The DX32 Joker is a stunning figure from every angle and in every single aspect. Congrats on getting this one! Thanks, Dean! I really appreciate it! God bless and stay safe!

Great Review. When you first got it out of the box and you said in was sculpted hair, i had to double take as it didn't look like it. I haven't bought a Hot Toys piece in years. Mainly a statue collector( but they are getting ridiculous in price after you factor good old Customs), but this could well be the first one. Incredible work by Hot Toys. Congrats on the review and all you honest opinions. Thanks
I’m so glad I paid this off. Dare I say it: this is not only the best 1/6 official sculpted Joker figure but it is in my opinion the best sculpted hot toy in general. This is it for me. Now if they’ll give us an updated DX Batman with all the latest updates I’ll be happy. Don’t wanna buy the armory just to only display the Batman figure.
Greatest joker figure ever. Amazing figure....you inspired me to pick this up .....just amazing ...the sculpt is the greatest I've ever seen. Made me go back and re appreciate heaths performance. Heath and mr Phoenix bith blessed the worlds with mind blowing performances of such a amazing character....so different yet but equally true and somehow both 100% pure to what joker is as a character.
I agree it's definitely Heath Ledger. I saw some guy writing comments like every page saying that it looks nothing like Ledger 😂. Can't wait until I get mine in, and i agree with everything you said. My boy killed it in this video ❤
I've watched this over 20 times now. You have the best review out of anyone else. This makes me so so much exciting for mine to come. I kind of went overboard and got all 3 😂. But look, im a huge trilogy fan, and i love ledger. Now, if we can only get a 2.0 demon batman, that scarecrow that's coming, Ra's, maybe? , a correct batman begins figure, a 3.0 bank robber joker, a 2.0 cop version, a nurse joker, and a few others on my mind. I’ve never owned a 1/6th Heath Joker before this one, and I’m not being hyperbolic when I say this… But in my 10 years of collecting, this is genuinely the best figure from Hot Toys that I’ve ever seen. The game has been upgraded, and I’m astonished by the leaps in artistry that have been made across the board.
Neve had a Leger Joker but from what I'm seeing here this one of Hot Toys's best figures ever and I'm only 7 minutes into the video. I kinda wish I had it just to appreciate the artistry whenever I look at it. Congrats Deano! 🙂🍻

Wasn't planning on getting this. I was satisfied with my DX11 with custom sculpt. But the final product blew me away! Hot Toys never captured Heath Ledger very well imo. The 1/4 actually is one of the worst. But thanks to Inart and JND Hot Toys stepped up their game. This is 100% Ledger! Ordered it last week haha. Guess I'm selling my DX11 ;) Thanks for this review Dean! Now I'm really excited!

I've downsized quite a bit but the fire is starting to burn again with these kind of releases. The wow factor is there again. Missed that the last couple of years. Everyone is stepping up their game because of all the competition. That's such a good thing!

Ordered the sculpted hair too, still looks incredible. I was gonna sell my dx 11 but actually can fully display the laughing sculpt inside the interrogation room scene cause that sculpt is fire as well as the diorama.

Hot Toys is always watching behind the curtains and always ready to attack in the darkest hours of the night. I wouldn't be surprised if HotToys comes strong with a Henry Cavill SUPERMAN.
And you are correct. The Blazer has a bluish gray color to it. You can clearly see it and behind the scenes footage when the Blazers and coats are hanging up on the Wardrobe line and I have a blazer from a custom place and that's the color they use is like a bluish Gray and I haven't completed my full Joker costume I'm still missing the Overcoat. Cuz no lie, just like he says in the movie, it's not cheap😂. I don't even want to tell you what I paid for the best, the shirt tie socks, suspenders, and pants😂. The only people I've seen get the color right or close were the daftoys outfit and the Queen Studios 1/4 scale statue i have. Im sure there's more, but that's with what i own

Only you need to be happy. I've got both rooted inart and ordered this one now. Personally, I prefer the hot toys. Likeness, expression especially. Proportions (never thought I'd say that for hot toys) and the preferred diorama. This is my preferred one. Jnd will be interesting, but the best overall (money, sculpt, likeness, tailoring, extras, diorama, box, everything, all considered)..... The best overall, I think it's hot toys. Which has suprised me. Side note, not a fan of long sculpted hair (more toy like, hard floating pasta), but this is my best sculpted hair ever in 1/6. Is this the best hot toys figure ever..... Could well be.

Awesome review Dean I own the Inart Rooted and completely agree. I think some folks who own the Inart version might be in denial. The eyes look soo much better on this version. You can see how far Hot Toys have come with sculpted hair over the years
I have both the Artisan version of this and the rooted Inart figures. You're absolutely right about the eyes, the likeness, realism the way in which they're seated is far superior. Having said that, I struggle to pick a favourite. I suppose it's mostly to do with how you like your Jokers. Hot Toys has done a magnificent job of hiding Heath under his makeup and expression, much like Heath did on screen at times. Whereas with the purple-coated Inart, you arguably see more of Heath than the Joker.
WoW don't need to say this is the one you see it image now inhand how much better ha, ha, now inart could show off and make and exra head sculpt to add to there joker if they wanted too and don't forget jnd but that head sculpt looks really good and the way that you cant push the head closer to his shoulders thats really cool i can't wait for my i got something i will be adding with him great job like always one more time WOW!

After I keep watching the review, I was wondering what hot toys logic was? They give him the grenade rig and his makeup is of the mob scene but then they give you the street diorama base for the hitman scene. But it has the bat symbol that's lit up on fire like dark Knight rises 😳😳😬😬😬😱😱😱💯💯💯💯 did anybody else notice that?
Lol people saying Hot toys dominated inart . It's crazy to say that any of the two dominate each other there both 🔥. Hot toys still don't have the hair right though as far as the artisans go , I prefer Inarts sculpt , and I fell like they made him too tall , inart scales better with the dx19 batman

I knew this was gonna happen but yet again, my man, you made me pull the trigger on another one.

Kind of surprised you didn't toss the Jaxon Batman you just did a review of next to him for a "what if" scenario. I think I will be displaying my shelf that way.
24:14 'when i move..' - You planning on moving house Dean? ..you got some boxing up to do there! ..i went through that in Halloween 2023. My stuff is still boxed up, as i have a ton of decorating to do. I am getting there, S_l_o_w_l_y_ ^_^
It's turned out great. Your custom wins in the hair style, and hairline departments. I prefer the likeness and expression on the Hot Toys, I think it's mostly to do with the eyes. They're both excellent, just different which is how I feel about the Inart and Hot Toys portraits. As for the paint apps I tend to flit between the two - sometimes I prefer the messy makeup look, others the freshly applied. Where the Hot Toys really stands out to me, in a good way, is the head to body proportions, and the posture, something which even the very best customs often struggle with. Let's see if JND can top this. Their prototype looks the most realistic and detailed, but I'm not all that keen on its expression and likeness. Whatever happens, this sculpted edition is the pound-for-pound champ, by some distance.
I don’t know why everyone else’s InArt sculpts looks worse than mine lol I watch videos and see pics, I question my own eyes, then I go home and look at mine and I and relieved lol don’t know why there is such discrepancy
I'm bored of all these "celebrity" 1/6 figures, no offense to Heath. I really hope Hot Toys starts doing more comic figures like the Dark Knight Returns. Celebs are just people like all of us and a lot of them are politically insane. I'd prefer to buy more comic 1/6 so I hope Hot Toys gets on it. Would love a BTAS 1/6 comic figure from Hot Toys next
@@ShadyDBZ4 it's so so, I'm not really a Inart dick rider, but there are still things Inart is better at. While the new Joker is a step forward, there are still certain individual things the old Inart still did better (hairline, expression, body). Not everything has to be a competition, and I think you'll be a much happier person when you realize this.

It's turned out great. Your custom wins in the hair style, and hairline departments. I prefer the likeness and expression on the Hot Toys, I think it's mostly to do with the eyes. They're both excellent, just different which is how I feel about the Inart and Hot Toys portraits. As for the paint apps I tend to flit between the two - sometimes I prefer the messy makeup look, others the freshly applied. Where the Hot Toys really stands out to me, in a good way, is the head to body proportions, and the posture, something which even the very best customs often struggle with.
Let's see if JND can top this. Their prototype looks the most realistic and detailed, but I'm not all that keen on its expression and likeness. Whatever happens, this sculpted edition is the pound-for-pound champ, by some distance.

I don’t know why everyone else’s InArt sculpts looks worse than mine lol I watch videos and see pics, I question my own eyes, then I go home and look at mine and I and relieved lol don’t know why there is such discrepancy

I'm bored of all these "celebrity" 1/6 figures, no offense to Heath. I really hope Hot Toys starts doing more comic figures like the Dark Knight Returns. Celebs are just people like all of us and a lot of them are politically insane. I'd prefer to buy more comic 1/6 so I hope Hot Toys gets on it. Would love a BTAS 1/6 comic figure from Hot Toys next

@@ShadyDBZ4 it's so so, I'm not really a Inart dick rider, but there are still things Inart is better at. While the new Joker is a step forward, there are still certain individual things the old Inart still did better (hairline, expression, body). Not everything has to be a competition, and I think you'll be a much happier person when you realize this.
