Especially liked the minuses you pointed out. Great 👍 job.
Missed this. The field where the pucks run- Is that finished with Danish oil or is that Lacquer? Thanks.
Brought back memories, very nice build.
wow very nice. what would one of these sell for?
Quite a bit considering the cost of supplies these days. Might could build it for $250 which includes the $35 cost of the parts kit. The cost will vary depending on what material you use. Hope this helps.
I would love to buy one of these, this is the PERFECT APT size shuffleboard. Any hints on where I could buy one like this? Thanks in advance.
Couple months late but any woodworker in your area could build this. Just make sure it's a woodworker and not advertising as a handyman or carpenter. If you don't have one in your area try Etsy. I'd offer to take this on but with shipping prices the way they are it just wouldn't be worth it to you
So, How heavy is this?
A really well presented interesting vlog 👍👍👍👍
Cool project, very well explained! Is there a functional / woodworking reason to build the cherry frame this way? In other words, rather than building the edges up by using multiple assemblies of mitered edging, why not just miter-fold full-height, solid wood strips with dados cut for the plywood base? Kind of like a fancy drawer box or picture frame but with fewer glue-ups and alignment concerns.
Interesting idea, although then the profile of the sides would be flat with 90 degree faces and corners instead of a half I-beam cross section, which is a bit more decorative.
@@jeffbaker8808 Yeah, that makes sense. I don't mind a contemporary look, but the more traditional I-beam look is nice, too!
@@GregLohr could always rout the side channels, although a lot of material to remove. But interesting to approach it as a drawer.
