- So I guess I have subconsciously been avoiding Sleep Token because I wanted to be a hipster or whatever, but man I'm so glad I finally came around to giving them a shot, because they are seriously like my new obsession. I love Vessel's voice way too much, and their music is SO unique. Please guide me to more great Sleep Token tracks in the comments! Also, subscribe to my channel, i'd be mighty obliged to ya if ya would!

The drummer goes by II and he's one of the best to do it right now. A God tier drummer and vocalist in the same band is a dangerous combo. Enjoy your journey!

Since you the love the drummer.....wouldnt hurt to react to some of his amazing drumming playthroughs. There are a few but they all include "an offering from ii" in the title. He even recently did a vid where he shows off a drum solo he created for this song you just heard.
Greetings from the UK. Great reaction. Subscribed. I followed your instructions and joined you for a smoke for your reaction! What to say about Sleep Token? Formed in London in 2016 by the lead singer, who goes by the moniker of Vessel. They are a masked and anonymous collective of musicians who are united in their worship of an ancient deity known as Sleep, who appeared to Vessel in a dream, offering him glory and magnificence in exchange for his loyalty! For recording purposes, the group consists of Vessel who performs all the vocals and plays all the instruments and II (Roman numeral 2) who plays all the drums and percussion. For live performances they are joined by III on bass and IV on guitar and a 3 piece female backing group called Espera. Sleep Token are very genre fluid and will incorporate other musical styles into their compositions. For your next reactions may I suggest either Chokehold or Vore, and then if you are still interested in further exploration of their music, you go back to their 1st release, an EP called One, as there is an overarching story told in all their songs, and listen to their whole discography in order. In fact last year's album, Take Me Back To Eden, is the culmination of a trilogy of albums. Stay safe 🤘 ✌️

Some of the suggestions here to listen to next are some of their best work. But since you enjoyed it so much, you would appreciate them in order and some of the later songs are made better by having heard previous songs. Even between albums.
But the last album is a different level and I wouldn’t recommend someone to wait that long to hear it.
So would say just listen to the latest album “Take me back to Eden” in order. This was the 2nd song of that album.

If you liked this and wanna check out more, I would honestly suggest starting with their first album Sundowning and working your way through their 3 albums. It's a trilogy of albums that tells a story. They also have 2 EPs called One and Two respectively. Some people start with those, but they're not completely necessary, in my opinion.
This song is one of the finest compositions i have ever heard. The whole "Take Me Back To Eden" album is on another level. Masterpiece

I heard The Summoning and then binged the whole TMBTE album, then went to their earlier stuff. I love to jam out in the car myself 😂... I saw them in concert (referred to as rituals) in May and was blown away with how good they are live and rarely is a singer better live than the recording, but Vessel's voice is true! The last song on the Eden album Euclid has many callbacks to several of their earlier songs so no matter what order you decide to listen to them, so at least save it for last. Good journey....i quit smoking so have a toke for me 😂

Yes!!!! Thread the Needle. Not many recommend that early but I LOVE that song!
They do multi genre, start at the EP's and gonthrough all of it including the messages from " the room below" 2023 concerts,and 2024 concert messages, when you listen to " fall for me" watch the video with it.

I definitely suggest you start from the beginning for this journey, go back to EPs and pay close attention to lyrics and how their albums connect. Listening to Sleep Token is a whole experience! Welcome to the club 🫶🏻
Subbed for the Sleep Token journey! The lead singer goes by Vessel and in the studio, he does all the vocals and instrumentals except for the drums. II is their drummer and since you appreciate his craft, I recommend checking out his Drumeo offerings (after you've listened to the songs, of course!). III (bass) and IV (guitar) are touring members. The best way to experience their music is going back to the (almost) beginning with Sundowning and listening to their three studio albums in order. It's a trilogy and there are a lot of callbacks, especially in the third album. The second album has some of II's best drumming. I'm so excited to see where your Sleep Token journey will take you and I hope you enjoy every second of it!

I love that there is a lot of new fans in the comments here but I think this album was so good it has overshadowed some of their other amazing works. I highly suggest listening to The Offering, Nazareth, or Jaws.

Sleep Token is an experience rather than one genre completely. As a die hard Metal, Old School NYC Hardcore fan all my life im so glad years ago YT had me stumbling and listening to so much different music and artists.

Definitely stop after Take me back to Eden and go to the beginning . It’s a story that unfolds as you go through their discography.
i went to multiple dimensions when i smoked to The Apparition. i was rocking hard to it, then i cried... then i lost the plot and woke up to my 6am alarm and had to go to work.

@GreatStonedDragon MINE TOO 🥺 I cried for *3 days* straight when they broke up. Half my back is tattooed for them. I miss them so much. But I love to see another ETID fan fall in love with Sleep Token. Never thought I would. Keep reacting, I'll be here for every video. The drummer really shines in Vore, The Offering, Higher and Jaws. Vore and Jaws are each like a drumming masterclass. The man is not of this world.
@carriefish oh same, I don't feel I ever truly recovered from them dropping the most incredible album and then *poof* but I am really happy to hear how well keith is doing, personally and spiritually.
