- I am definitely new to the SLEEP TOKEN bandwagon, but I am so happy to be a part of this club! Every song I've heard from this band has been blowing me away, and Take Me Back To Eden is no different. I have LOVED getting to know this band, and getting to know YOU. Really if you want to dive in to Sleep Token you need to just go back to the start and listen their whole discography: EPs One and Two, a handful of singles and covers, and albums Sundowning, This Place Will Become Your Tomb, and Take Me Back to Eden. It's so rewarding to not only see the progression of their style, but their lyrics build on each other, there are references and call backs to previous songs, like in this for example, the line "When we were made, it was no accident" is from the first song on the album, Chokehold. There's stuff you'll miss out on if you just go at it piecemeal.

Just subscribed! If you want a deep dive - here is the order to listen - 1st EP - One. 2nd EP - Two. There are some covers, then the first album - The Summoning. 2nd Album - This Place Will Become Your Tomb. 3rd (and most recent album) Take Me Back To Eden. There is serious lore with this band, if you want to dive into that - the three albums are a trilogy. The band is anonymous - the singer is known as Vessel, the drummer II, the bassist III, the guitarist IV. Vessel and the drummer, II are the only members who write and record - Vessel records all vocals and every instrument besides drums.

Ridiculously good song.
I sort of wish you had heard the songs prior to this in the album. This is the 11th track and is sort of a culmination and crescendo, which you can probably picture from hearing just this song alone.
So if you hear this having heard the 10 previous, it is somehow even better than what you just heard.
Well the good news is, I was BAKED when I watched this, so I bet I can watch through all of it and still be just as mesmerized 😂

Welcome to the rabbit hole. Please keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times, leave every single one of your expectations at the door, and enjoy the ride.
We all generally say to go back to the start of the discography and listen through, since the payoff over the course of 2 EPs, singles, and 3 LPs is incredible at the end. That being said, not everyone has the time or energy for that, so we get it - we appreciate the reactions you do put out regardless. Lyrics are good to skim over after the song if you're not usually a lyric person - they add a good amount of depth even on their own. :) 🤙🏽

WORSHIIIP ✌🏻 A lot of people will tell you to start from the very beginning of their stuff, in order and I'd agree with that. If you don't wanna do that tho I'd suggest Ascensionism, High Water, Nazareth. Alkaline if you want a spooky music video.
