You have to listen to Aqua Regia, Give, & Ascensionism for sure! :) The singer (there's only one) is called Vessel, he actually does just about everything else on the tracks besides the drums, which are composed and played by the drummer, II (roman numeral 2). You should check out his drum playthroughs, like The Summoning on Drumeo, because he's insanely good!
It's funny you bring up Prince because I have compared Vessel (singer, songwriter, composer) to Prince before. Prince liked to experiment with music and the sexual vibes of course 😂. This song reminds me of Darling Nikki , the composition of it and the break down. But like Prince, Vessel plays all instruments and does on all their recorded songs in studio along with the drummer II. And the drummer is a beast! 😂😂 Vessel is the only singer, he even does his own backup vocals on the album, but there is a trio of girls that sing backup during live shows. But Vessel has a vocal range that is unique like Prince also. So, I can definitely see how you draw that conclusion. I was a huge Prince fan also. As for what to listen to next I would recommend The Offering, Drag Me Under, Bloodsport (from the room below), Atlantic, Hypnosis, The Love You Want, Alkaline, Missing Limbs, Aqua Regia, The Apparition, Ascensionism....they have a couple covers you'd like too, a reimagined version of I wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston and Hey Ya by OutKast.
