True heroism, the only thing that hurt me was how it was going to affect Sin. Even Ky was greatly affected by her (seeming) sacrifice, just that he wasn't given the opportunity to grieve.
That's why people like me wanted her for Strive. She's such a great character with great development. They can't throw her away. Can't wait to see more of her growth in Strive.

This Xrd story was the main reason I fell in love with Guilty Gear franchise as a whole, and I grew up playing/trying all guilty gear games, I didn’t have a favorite character, or a character that I like design-wise even, until Xrd game with the new generation of characters, I ended up falling in love with almost all the new characters that got introduced in this sequel. Oh, and I finally got a main too, Elphelt. :3 I really hope she is among Season 2 characters of #GGST 😭

They use the word "Japanese" instead of "Nihonjin" to emphasize that there is no Japan anymore and its language itself more or less is gone now, and not even remaining Japanese speak it now. Or so I think.
I think the idea was that she couldn't while she was being blocked by that guy, he would have stopped her if she tried and there wasn't enough time to take him down.

You know... this chapter frustrates me the most out of all of these chapters due to Ram's "death" being kinda forced: she could've just flew up and away to get around the Phalanx... right? Or am I completely dumb
It was probably done for the sake of character development. Actually sacrificing yourself is more powerful than just showing the will to do so. Of course, it leaves this plothole, but I'd say the story gets more interesting this way.
