This is great, thanks. Had dealer install a hd3500 on my 2020 650 xmr and the winch died my second time plowing with it. Bad solenoid I think. Was helpful to see how the switch harness was installed and good to know that I can add a remote to it, easily.

How do you know where the wires attach to the solenoid? Is there a correct place for the blue and yellow? What about the red and black? Is there a correct place for them to attach to the solenoid? Or doesn't it matter?
Great job my winch now start after i blowing snow not going in only out . I notes it’s happening after like 10 minutes of blowing snow ,i can hear the click sound but not going in try few time then works good, any ideas do you think the the plus cable get hot

Unfortunately, I don’t have the model number anymore but most canon part can be ordered off of Amazon nowadays

Do you know what the little connectors that plug into the factory keyed power is my winch doesn’t have that and I’d like to wire it to the factory plug in
It should be underneath the center display. There are two different kinds of connectors. What is the small white one? There’s also a large black connector

My in-out switch just broke and I picked up the new switch but it only has one black plug. Still red green black wires so is it the right cable for a 22 outlander 650 xt?

What kinda tool did you use to pop out the rivets holding the plstics on? I dont want to be breaking a bunch. Lol
I usually use a pair of side cutters or a two prong pry tool
wish this was part of your how to install a can am plow video, since they only sell it with the winch. or at least was linked to it.
