I just got my titanium toad in earlier this week. I got it with zirc plates but also ordered Teflon plates. I actually really like the zirc plates so haven’t felt need to switch them. I would love to get the new design egg slicer in zirc lol
@@EDCFIDGET I love it but it’s my first and only magnus so I don’t know how it compares to the 3 click. But the reason I like it bc of the sound is kinda loud and clicky, soo satisfying lol
They are all very cool. I'm going to try some 3d printed versions of these before I invest in the more expensive ones to make sure I like the style. Great video 👍
My first Magnus slider arrives next week. I went for a Groove with zinc plates. I like the added weight of zirc, so that was the deciding factor for me. I've considered the sandwich as well, but wanna see how I like the Groove as is.

The sandwich is epic butttt some sliders are so good they don’t need it like the toad. I like using the sandwich with the peak. Zirc is the best!
I haven’t tried the PTFE plates, but I feel like zirconium nor other metals are more futureproof, less likely to wear down overtime
Did you try brass on Teflon?
I wonder if he's messed around with Delrin, I think it would work really well, plus it's black which I think looks better
