Some may think this is nothing more than beating a game with a beetle. but it's a story about love. overcoming your fears. perseverance. Truly inspirational.
300 hour Commando main here. I have mastery in All of the characters, and am just missing like 10 achievements. Command is the best when it comes to proc'ing. All he needs is a uke/meat hooks/ ATGs. You have to use him with the shotguns.
Well, I don't think anything on that planet is there of its own will. The only reason the imps are still there is because they don't have the strength they need to teleport home.
Not their planet or moon. They were abducted by providence from a dying planet far away. Just like everything else aside from the golems ,guardians, clay constructs and chymeria.
Imagine you're Mithrix: your brother has been slain by a mysterious lifeform and his ship is nowhere to be found. In a rage, you've killed all that remains of that survivor's kin and exiled yourself to the moon. You lie in wait, sure that this man who dared challenged the gods of this world would return to finish the job. You remain dormant for days, weeks, years, long enough for time to meld together into what you can only describe as torture. Finally, you hear of another ship, sending others, mysterious people, down to your planet. You hold your excitement, testing them with minions of your creation, relics of what creatures your brother had envisioned. But then, after less than an hour of preparation, you see it. A beetle, the most basic of your mindless pawns. At first, you shoo him away, after all, you're expecting a guest. But this beetle simply stares, and you notice something off. That bright blue outline. The glasses on his eyes. This beetle has slain your finest minions, taken from their scraps, and now aims to lay you to waste with them. You scoff, accepting this challenge with the intention of a quick fight. You feel it. That tingling sensation locking your bones as an eruption of flame encases your body. It tears at your flesh, threatening to wipe you out in one rotation. That bastard! The royal capacitor aided by the Band of Kjaro; how did he get his hands of such weaponry!? No matter, you declare, as you retreat to bide your time. No dice. The beetle effortlessly carves his way through what minions you had left, leaving you to fend for yourself. You decide to take a new approach, smashing his drone allies to pieces, but that only leaves you more vulnerable. In a last-ditch-effort, you take his items away, leaving him nothing but a simple beetle to defend himself as. But again, like a reminder from a power higher than your own, its called down. That damn royal capacitor! At this point, you're too weak to move. That beetle, your former minion, watches with emotionless eyes as you're electrocuted again and again with no mercy. For the first time, you fear for you life, you want to fight for what you still have and maintain your dignity, but it's too late. In your final moments, you see your brother looking down from the sky. You beg for forgiveness, a chance to make things right, but he only turns away in shame. You failed him, like he failed you all those years ago. You understand now. All you can do now is take this monster down with you.
“Im just a lil guy” Gameplay. Also for some reason the animation of the beetle digging out of the ground at the start of every level is really appealing to me for some reason.
Beetle should become a canon survivor. In the logbook it can say something like, his pheremone receptors were removed after becoming paralyzed by a group of survivors. And he became their pet because everything else attacked them, but was left behind because he could be dangerous in space. Primary, Jerryrigged ATG, or a Jerryrigged crowdfunder. Fire a missile for 250%damage with targetting like huntress, or fire rocks for 100%. Chance to misfire, dealing 1/10th damage. Secondary, headbutt. Utility, harden shell, gain 200 armour for 10s 20s CD, maybe add some healing andor movespeed Special, fuse item, active item becomes embedded in shell, becoming weaker, but adding effect to headbutt or harden shell. Buffs on the latter. E.g. milky chrysalis on harden, sawmerang on secondary. 45+15s per previously added item cooldown.
Of course they were able to, equipment items are such a huge part of any normal run they can easily carry anything with the right item, that item being the kjaro bands in this run the only hard part of this victory for them was getting past the first floor, after they had drones and turrets and the royal capicitor it was already way easier and the band printer just made it a 100% finished run
@@scuffedgaming755 well yeah of course equipment/kjaro carried them beyond stage 1. I'm mostly impressed at what they did to begin with.
