- In this episode of "What Is On My Wrist" Cam talks about a MK III Rolex Ref. 1665 Double Red Sea-Dweller and takes us thought the history of deep-sea diving and in particular mixed gas diving. The Rolex Sea-Dweller was born in the 1960s out of the collaboration with COMEX a French deep-sea diving company. Comex is sometimes referred to as the NASA of the deep seas and was the pioneer in mixed gas diving. From the explanation of the watch, and that is without all the Rolex bling this video of yours exemplifies how a proper tool watch is properly exemplified, and kudos to you for that Sir. PS, keep the background soft Jazz, because it just blends this whole classy video Sir 👍 Tam.
Thanks Man, I agree this watch is a watch born from need and exploration super cool right!!

Two grails, this one 1665 double red and a Rolex mil -sub...both, the absolute best Tool watches..
Those two are my grails as well. I have SD 16600 and Sub 16610 to scratch the itch. But only on the surface LOL..
@@ogadjim6191 ...yeah, I know what you mean...I have ceramic ss daytona....and Jc deepsea but I keep wanting the ole vintage tool watches....something about that double red is cooler to me than just about any watch.
Gorgeous time piece

Craft & Tailored - I can see that, you’re a very interesting man Cam.
All good! Watchdude is great on 📷
Thanks my man!
Awesome cam. Jungers needs his arm twisted, make him buy it 😁
Heh Heh
what is the market price of 1665 MK3 drsd grey insert?
Depends on the specific condition of the watch and watch only or box papers?
Cam - what’s that silver bracelet you’re wearing?
It's a large "Curb Link" Bracelet in Sterling Silver similar to theone that Paul Newman wore with a sister clasp that can be found on WW2 dog tags... to say im a nerd with watches and detail would be just scratching the surface! 😎
also check out my dudes at General Quarters here in LA they made one similar generalquarters.com/collections/jewelry/products/large-curb-link-bracelet-in-sterling-silver?variant=20007526695023
Escape not excape lol
If you like the look but can't afford it then buy a New Steinhart Vintage Red direct from Steinhart which is an homage to this watch. I have a Submariner 5513 but it's just too expensive to service now Euros 1000 so I wear the Steinhart which keeps just as good time. If I'm honest the Steinhart looks better than the Rolex.
EScape. Not Excape.
Also people who own sea dwellers/ submariners/ yacht masters and explorers and are scared to get them wet, taking them off for showers or swimming etc should be punched in the face.
