Inside My Creepy Camper Van | Basic Build Tour

- Take a look at my relatively simple build in my Chevy G20 high top camper van. This is a basic setup to make the van functional before doing a full remodel in the near future. This set up includes auxiliary battery power, shore power, a queen sized bed, a heater and a simple storage and kitchen working space. Pretty basic for a lot of van builds, but still a step up from my old subaru outback camper build.
Future plans include, solar power, better insulation, more battery power, a water tank and a more refined interior.
I also plan on doing a small lift and larger tires, and a selectable locker to help tackle tricky roads.
Also your dog is hilarious and amazing!
True love between man and dog
Don’t call em’ mans best friend for nothing 🙂👍
That dog is the best.
Nice job on the interior! Future project, Oregon forest green color paint job😉
I love that artwork on your headboard. Shout out to Ricky the artist.
I have a 1976 GMC g20 Vandera camper van and I love it
Ive enjoyed your videos and I love Remi
Hey I just watched you for the first time and you’ve got a nice thing going for you and Remy; nice doggie! Be safe and enjoy! ✌🏼
Im in Oregon too
Looking great!
I love your set up. Great van!!
Thanks for sharing
Such a cool van!
You are really whipping the blue van into shape. Can't wait to see a true camping video.
Can’t wait to get out and do some more camping with it. The snow we got put a hold on van trips for a bit, but it’s clearing up enough now I should be able to go out soon.
The van is awesome. Remy is a dream dog ! New subscriber here !
Thank you!
Thank you 😊 cool van and beautiful dog. Good luck 🍀 I hope you’re having a good time.
love what you did with you're van
Hey I’m new to your channel. Love it. Creepy camper van. Lol
Nice job.
I have the 86 get away high top
I did do an LS swap with a 4l80e and 4:10 rear end.
In Oregon too
I just gutted the interior. You have some pretty good ideas. 👍
Nice job so far!
Thank you.
I just found your channel! Great video! I have a Chevy G20 too! It gives me ideas for my build.
Great job on your van. I have been looking for bucket seats to swap out the captains chairs in the front of my '93 Chevy G20 Sport Van, plus how to redo the ceiling panels. Great video. I have subscribed to your channel. 🏔
Nice. Cute Remy!!!
Nice to see how everything is coming along.
LOL Remy's acting like are we going for a ride now or what?
Yeah she’ll just chill out for hours then randomly decide its time to do something, 😂
@@DonnieDispersed Darn spoiled kids nowadays just get everything they want. LOL
Love you man, thanks for making these amazing videos. I love Remy more though, what a beautiful incredible dog she is. Peace to you two. Can’t wait to your next video. Matt, from UK
Van looks great
My dash is impossible to see too, but I didn't know I could replace the bulbs (1995 Dodge RoadTrek). I'm going to try to figure out how to do it now! Thanks! 🥰🚙🇨🇦
I'm thinking about either a van, or a truck with either a camper, or shell.
If I can find a 4wd van, I'd probably prefer that.
Looking good Donnie, bet it’s a lot more comfortable than the Subaru haha I’m gonna be working on some new stuff for my Subaru soon now that I know what I need and where everything typically goes ... I plan to keep saving and buy some land somewhere nice, build a tiny a-frame to sleep in while I build a cabin/homestead then use the a-frame for the bathroom or workshop
That high top makes that Van so spacious. Do you live in that fulltime?I bought a 2004 sienna but I'm thinking it might not be big enough.Great Video
Hey there, have a g20 myself, the seats are old and terrible. What kind of modifications did you need to do to get the Mazda seats in? Anything I should look for in particular when sourcing some junkyard seats?
We had to weld some mounting points on the bottom and cut and modify my swivel bases to lower the seat height.
How did you learn how to do the wiring / heater / battery setup? Self taught or did you learn from a past job?
Lots of research and RUclips.
I’m like all but the Best is you Dog!!
You’re awesome n I wanna pet your dogggg!!!
Whats up donnie! Is the van awd or 4x4? Are you able to go off road with it, guessing not to the extent of the subie? Thanks
Rear wheel drive only. Planning on a locker for the back to help with some tougher roads. I don’t really off road that much outside of traveling forest roads.
@@DonnieDispersed do you regret selling the subie?
@@Jigohhh not really
And what happend to subaru in the end? You are going to sell it or keep for parts? Also i'd like to ask how this van manages on your adventures - subaru probably had more power and ground clereance and of course all wheel drive.
Going to pick up the Subaru from a a family members today to get it ready to sell. I’m sure I’ll be missing the awd. But I plan on lift the van and putting in a rear locker so I think it should manage fine.
Weird question but how many miles were on the van when you bought it? How far have you gone since?
What do you think is acceptable mileage when buying a used van?
Is that a 1995 Chevy G20 conversion
1987 g20
@@DonnieDispersed thank you
It's tha van for sale ???
Love it
Has Remy gotten more comfortable with the van or is she still skittish in it?
She’s fine with it now. She likes to lay on the bed while I’m working on it. 👍
@@DonnieDispersed It's probably because you're there and it's now home and she's learned she is safe there.

I like your slurpee kissing friend...! 💛 You do not need to have the perfect aesthetic build out to enjoy good times. Simple functionality works great! We're all a work in progress.
He's like my dog he doesn't like it when I'm talking to anyone but him
🙂
