We used to have a store similar to this that went out of business, but it was mainly stuff from Amazon . Sometime they had shelf food items. Their prices went from $10,8,6,5,4,2 and 75cents. I miss it!

Wow, that's incredibly cheap! I wish they had something similar in NYC! Over here, the prices are skyrocketing, eggs are now $12 dollars!

For those wondering, this place is called That's Cheap! Grocery, and it's in Orangevale, California - a suburb of Sacramento.
I wish these stores were all over.
We have several ‘bent and dent’ stores in our little area. Food and usually just about anything else, including health care and beauty supplies. Price depends on the ownership of the store. Some stuff is out dated, but not by a lot. I spoke to one of the owners of the shop and she told me that she orders banana boxes filled with items. They don’t really know what they’ll get and often times it’s hit or miss. It’s a good way to help people though and also keep the food and products out of the landfills for the most part.

Exactly what I was thinking about expiration dates. I have shopped at stores with soon to or recently expired goods and I don't mind on most items especially these when they are only 25 cents!
