- Well, talk bout a rush of nostalgia eh? And what an incredible machine chucking out all those absolutely gorgeous axle and gearbox sounds, an absolute nostalgia kick from my childhood!
This was filmed 3 and a half years ago and to this day I still get hairs on the back of my neck standing up when I watch this video! @@ThePlymouthRoadSurfer Sadly they're not the best now. 16973/74/75 all have roaring cooling fans but 76 and 77 don't. I've been on all of them now and yeah 16977 AV256 is one of the best!
Is it just me or is that thing fast as fuck!! what a beast.. man the 17A has changed so much now since it moved to Slow Ahead. Halpenny Coaches have AV297, 374, AX452 and that gorgeous beast DT6!!
Yeah she was certainly a good one! My favourite bit is at 3:06!

Nope this is AV 221, a B7TL in the Dublin Bus fleet back in the day, now scrapped :-(
