Me and my friend have played this for 10+ years many days a month. I’d call myself the best metroid prime 2 player in the world. I am surprised if there are any competitors. I love this game

Man this takes me back when my cousins and I (they dont game as much anymore sadly like I do) come together and battle out as samus or in Metroid Prime Hunters, other bounty hunters. Nintendo, really needs to bring this back with online play/rewards and customizations. NOW is the time for tht.
I used to play it. I usually beat my friends on it because in multiplayer. I always sneak up behind them. I use the Dark Beam to freeze them in place using the Super Missile to destroy them because. I like to use invisibility in matches
▪️ I remember it sucked.. even when it came out. But it was one of those "it's so bad it's good" things ... & it wasn't so much that it was horrible - it's more that other multi-player games were just much better. Even years before it came out... 🟥
If I did that, it probably wouldn't be very soon. It's not a game that I have played, and I don't know of anyone else who has played it. Not sure about 4p, but perhaps I could try 3p someday. I can't make any promises about it, though.
What is it you're surprised about? That a player can kill another player by going into the cannon first, or is it what happened after, when the match ends because the two players collide midair?
@@arronmunroethe last kill, beacuse yeah, you and smashfinale got into the cannon at the same time and you ended up killing him, the timing was perfect
@@Pixel_Bits We actually killed each other, which is why Smashfinale had 3 kills on the ranking screen. I don't remember what happens if two players who are one point away from winning hit each other at the same time.

Amazing how old consoles could handle 4 player split screen and games nowadays cant even handle two player splitscreen

I liked using action replay on this, to enable the beam combos, additional suits, screw attack, etc! It was fun to experiment.
