There was a youtuber on here named Shadowwolf000, he and his buddies would play this game a lot and it was the prime example of friends hanging out and having a good time. I’m pretty sure he and his friends still do youtube, but I hope they’re all doing well.

What's interesting is that the source is an older version of the Dolphin wiki for Star Fox Assault that contains more information than the current version of the wiki. What's cool though is that the old version of the wiki contains a link to where it got the widescreen hack from which includes someone who made very advanced and interesting AR codes for the PAL version of the game. So thanks for saying where you got the code from otherwise I wouldn't have found this. (I would put links but RUclips deleted my comment that contained them)

Since Nintendo refuses to make another Starfox game with these characters and multiplayer, Assault is the only way we can get this fix (even though this game came out on a console 3 generations ago). As for your question about the barrel roll, I had thought you can still deflect shots with it in this game.

As for the barrel roll, maybe it's just the regular small lasers that it can deflect, maybe it can't deflect charge lasers. I'd have to see if it does deflect incoming damage Also did you know that if you press Z away from a Landmaster/Arwing, your character will do a sort of taunt? If you press Z as soon as you down someone, you do a snarkier taunt
The most I can suggest in this case is asking around at the Dolphin forums. I play various games with my friends, but I haven't played this one since I made this video. Not that I have a problem playing it again, but I'm limited in how much time I can dedicate to one specific game.

It was included in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, alongside Spyro the Dragon and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
