The reason why they even played as fast as they did was just to get the tour over with. You can even hear anger in mark's voice when he sings.

I do believe they were not really speaking to one another at this time and it kinda feels that way with this performance. Almost like they wanna get it over with.
neighborhoods was their last good album. They reunited back in 09 of course, but neighborhoods was their last good album, it had influences of blink, +44, Angels and airwaves, and boxcar racer. Tom would have never been cool with the guy who produced California, nor would Tom would have been okay with getting lil Wayne on board which new blink did not that long ago. In reality, Tom was what kept the band progressive, and I’m glad to see a lot of people are liking neighborhoods more now. I know it didn’t work out, I just wish Tom and Travis would have done +44 again, but no, they kept blink up... probably only for the money. In 2015, Tom departed blink, but not really for what people thought, it was over a miscommunication over not wanting to do a show, Tom wasn’t going to leave, but then mark does The Rolling Stone interview which fucked it all up. That’s when Tom said their relationship was poisoned after that. But yeah blink was really good from its beginning up until 2015.
you gotta be a crazy tom fanboy to think the rolling stone interview and tom not wanting to do a show is what made tom leave. so much shit was happening before, like tom not communicating with the band, delaying recording to go work with ava and do other shit, it seemed like he didn’t care and the rest of the band couldn’t work like that. i wasn’t super pumped about the lil wayne collaboration either but at least blink with matt seems healthier and like the members actually like each other.

These shows are when there was a lot of tension between Tom and Mark, so there may not be a lot of "fun" happening. But look at their earlier concerts. Like Camden 2004, they were good that show, and they had a bunch of fun. And Reading festival 2014. They were good that show, and they had a ton of fun on stage
One of their life quotes is "Quality crappy punk rock"........ But also, that's what makes blink... blink. Yeah they play crappy on stage sometimes, but they have fun. And that's the point of playing music, yes it helps to be really amazing at your instrument, but it's all about how playing makes you feel. Its about having fun on stage with your friends.

Thomas Campbell I saw Matt live and it was better than I expected. Tom was obviously being lazy here or simply just didnt care. I like Blink more than Alkaline Trio but Matt is a better guitarist and a better song writer than Tom.
