Load times are more important in games like Spiderman, Witcher or Demon's Souls since they have pretty long loading times that you have to see everytime you die
Atleast you dont care for loading times until you play a game that has more than 10 seconds of loading times, for example the witcher 3 requires 40-60sec to load after every death and fast travel, imagine playing it on harder difficulties.

For me personally, the warriors games are just too big to have them on a non portable console. They are best when you can open it up quickly anywhere and just do a short mission. Once it comes out in English, there is no doubt that I will add Scramble to my switch collection with Hyrule Warriors 1 and AOC, Fire Emblem warriors, and once it also comes out in America on switch, Dragon Quest Heros 1/2.
@@Todadille My biggest issue with the Switch has been that I've now had two sets of joycons drift. I've been able to periodically able to clean them to get them to work normally, but it's too short term a fix. Especially when certain games are absolutely fucked over by drift like Smash. Now, I just use my DS if I'm playing on the go; otherwise, I use pro controllers at home.
I played the first hour and it’s so beautiful. I had to change my PS4 from my TV to my monitor to record so I wanted to wait for the PS5 to plat the game again. Gonna restart the game soon to refresh my memory.
At the end of the day, as long as the games don't run like some bozo trying to run Crysis in the PS2 it's okay. Technical prowess doesn't make or break games, but they're a way in for many people.
Can you list what you're using PS4 wise though? Pro? SSD? This is stuff that needs to be known to get a general idea of comparisons. Also by chance could you test the original Persona 5?
Is nocturne remastered that badly optimized? I finished it a couple of months ago on my old ass fat ps2 and i dont remember load times being as bad as the remaster
It is. Both the PS4 and Switch versions have frame drops (Switch has harsher frame drops), longer loading times, and input lag, too. Atlus is looking to fix its performance issues, but it's taken them 3 weeks to acknowledge the performance complaints.
@@stale_cheeto Highly doubt it's emulated. The game was made in Unity and textures did get reworked and so did the lighting. But even if it was supposedly emulated, it still shouldn't run that badly. I'm pretty sure a PC with PS4 specs could run Nocturne at 1080p in PCSX2 with little to no frame drops.

@@trollzor85 Well obviously it was based on the ps2 version since theres no other version, but the nocturne ps4 remaster was remade from the groundup in unity engine, and they used the original games assets, the ps3 version of nocturne and persona 3 were all emulated, meaning they used the original ps2 game and just slapped it on the ps3 with no optimization or anything (that is why both game ran like crap and looked like crap)

Well this isn't an optimized PS5 version of the game, some games are literally programmed to load for a certain time or else it messes stuff up, and some games well they just don't wanna put the time in to truely optimise loading times
