Could have msde for a neat idea if you had to manage your anonymity as the Phantom Thieves. For example, that you must have an occupation so your purchase seem like they have a real source, even if the numbers don't add up or getting some alibis through your hobbies on the day of the heists. Probably too complicated and limiting but a fun thought.

Same. My P5R playthrough has seen me rolling in so much money I was hitting the million yen mark in the middle of Futaba's Palace. And I didn't exactly play optimally. Barely even milked a couple shadows for their grandma's lunch money. It was absurd.
