Thank you for this video! I checked everything and it was all perfect. At the end of the day, I had hit F8 on my keyboard ( when, I do not know ) and it was the simpliest fix. Once I selected the F8 key and the problem was fixed. 🤦♀️ It was the simpliest fix, yet I thought it was the worst case scenerio. Smh.

Either check your F8 camera key, toggle key of course. Or look at the top of your monitor for the inconspicuous (unnoticeable) webcam view shutter door to slide left and right on the newest laptops. Check the latter first.

Hi, your videos seem to be efficient and easy to understand. I really badly need help with my zoom app on my laptop. A couple of weeks ago, I changed the settings to record automatically when one of my meetings starts. Till then, everything worked perfectly with my camera. Today I wanted to join as usual with my external webcam, and zoom decided not to respond and got stuck. When I unplug the webcam, log back into zoom, it works okay with my laptop's camera, but I don't like using it because of the angle. Then I tried again to put in my camera, again-the same problem. I tried everything I found on the web, which is almost everything you suggested, then I tried some of your suggestions; still, no can do. Would you please help me?

The last step fixed it for me. Uninstalled the camera and upgraded from device settings and it started on the zoom.

Try to turn off web cam protection from antivirus in your pc.
