    I love the fact that this guy went out of his way to go to Walmart and buy the supplies and show us what we needed to do this our self and though out the entire process he explained in detail what he was doing to educate us how we could do it ourself. Fantastic job, and not only that but I love how much time he put into filing this and getting good camera angles so we could see everything he was doing and taking the time to edit this and post it for us to see. • @applepollo
      @applepollo Год назад +2

      @@MAGA_Randy_Marsh I highly don’t recommend buying any cheap Walmart crap. If you want tints go to a professional shop as industrial sellers mark up only full rolls of tint that usually go for 10,000 USD. Which is what tint shops buy for their businesses.

    • @applepollo
      @applepollo Год назад

      @@bigdaddy6256 it depends on the condition that you have kept the films in. Amazon/Walmart or any big chain company will sell tints of low quality, as tint films are manufactured in masses of rolls that are shipped out at extremely high prices, I suggest going to a tint shop and getting an estimate instead of buying low quality garbage. Spend your money on something that will last long and turn out good instead of wasting it on rubbish.

      Step 9.5) Most cars or sedans have concave windows (although this is recommended for most windows regardless), heat shrinking the film will prevent bubbles from appearing in the future; use a heat gun or hair dryer on the tint film until the "fingers" on the film become wrinkled and use squeegee or bondo card to smooth down the fingers as the heat is applied until the film sits flat against the window...

    I started window tinting in 1986. I opened my own shop in 1994. I was in business until 2017 when the frequent bouts of carpal tunnel became too much. The only thing I would do differently is, I would cut the tint on the top edge of the glass while it's down a couple of inches. I would also join 2 pieces of tint together and cut both front and rear windows out at the same time.

Now I know what I did wrong. Thanks!

    I used WalMart Black Magic tint (3 stars) in the past on several vehicles. The tint went on fine, a bit hard to get the bubbles/fingers out but I did. In EVERY case the window tint changed colors in about a year and a half, it went from black to a grayish white color, it looked awful. I had to uninstall the film on each car, I cannot stress enough - this stuff is PURE CRAP! Do NOT install Black Magic film on your vehicle, it might look ok initially but will change color in time.
