I've retired from window tinting after 40+ years so this is rather boring but I will say try using peel boards !!!!!!!
A flat glass mounted to a rolling a frame, hang the film upside down finger wash bucket and never a dirty finger on the tint , never took a trim panel loose on any vehicle, retired 25 yrs ago

Shawn what are the tips for safety or registration stickers on the inside of the front window AFTER a tint has been applied? I worry that garages oil replacement stickers, or yearly safety inspection stickers will peal or damage the film

Negative. Most states are 55% and above is legal
Were the side windows pre-cut on a plotter ? And I assume the Chameleon won't show thru the factory-tinted 4Runner rear windows ?

are y’all serious? tons of fools have limo tint all around out here and barely get pulled over because there just aren’t enough police. Yeah it’s technically illegal but you only get stopped if you’re doing something else wrong too. That all-around limo almost guarantees that they’re going to be a bad / 💩🙆 driver too though.

Depending on your state, a cop will say this is "mirrored" tint.
It's not worth it if you live in a commie state that bans windshield tints/reflective tints.
Why most tinters not protect the interior better. Speaker holes get sprayed and dripped lol.

@Window Tint Warriors have you had any issues with NYS messing with you about removing Inspection Stickers? I'm a 15y tint veteran from Upstate NY and some of the shops up there have had some issues with Inspection Removals. Some have been getting fines for removing them. Even with signed waivers.

Stay in your parents garage. Once you add rent to a landlord and taxes, you’ll be spending most your money working to pay the landlord. First several jobs every month will be for him. Then taxes will pinch your profit. You’ll have to raise prices, then get less work because you’ll be competing with the big shops.

But why give influence to do the windshield when it is illegal? Are you just coloring it or also actually reducing visibility or privacy. Tint translucent is always COLOR. How much in % is trans to opaque. Typically with automotive the term TINT does not mean color but % of privacy. I want windows that change color with the push of a button and goes to 100%. Don't look at my naked butt mode. PRIVATE CABIN MEANS PRIVATE CABIN. YO.

its Illegal to tint a full windshield in Kansas , you can only go as low as the AS-1 line marked on the windshield .
What state allows you to put tint on front windshield??
None lol... At least the full windshield. Some will let you to the AS-1 line (very top strip)
The sad part of this , he will get pulled over and he will have to remove the tint!!!! Sad. You can’t alter any front windshield in America!!! No state allows this. Fact. It is a road hazard and not safe. So don’t do it
No, he won't. I had my front wildshield tinted for about 6 years now and I haven't had an issue. Even traveling out of state.
It depends on what state you’re in. That’s a broad statement to say. In Massachusetts you won’t get pulled over for it. You just won’t get an inspection sticker when it’s time. Every year tint companies make a killing lol in Boston. I do my own tint. I’ve always have.
