I'm still kind of shocked at the amount of shops that STILL refuse to use the soap rope. I've owned three different cars from three different manufacturers that were known to develop electrical gremlins if water got down between the dash and windshield. I kind of lose all respect and faith in any shop that doesn't make it a basic part of their routine since it's such a known issue. Great video. I wish I had shops like yours in my area. My local shops have you wanting to just do it yourself, but I know most of us with 0 experience would royally screw it up.

Your videos are very good, my questions is the slip solution, I do tinting as a business and one constant problem is the slip solution I live in Hawaii and the shop do not have air conditioner so is relativity hot, is a problem to maneuver the film on the window not mare how much soap or water, and the creasing possibilities increase exponentially, I will appreciate if you can let me know your opinion, Thank you.
I usually never get lucky enough to be able to wash out a hair. The way it works for me I get the hair locked in so well the glue gets damaged by the time I get it to release. 😂👍I like your mirror button technique will have to try that out. 👍
Purpose or reasoning behind behind the ceramic shield on the windshield? Easy cleaning or something? Just curious, I'm old school. Door windows tinted but not windshield lol 🤟
Have you tinted a Subaru car with eyesight cameras on the front windshield? I read up Subaru owner manual and it does not recommend tinting the windshield. I want to know if ceramic tint will affect the cameras at all.
Great video, will be using it. I'm assuming it's still the same recipe of a little bit of dishwashing liquid and water for the spray. Anyway, great tips

How do you like the Geoshield vs LLUMAR? Is Geoshield a good product? I’m thinking about using the ceramic on my car. Just not sure and I’ve never used it.
Good job but I would recommend to squeegee middle to top and middle to bottom the same direction you shrank the fingers out. By pushing the water out to the sides, you are working against the shrink.
Hi, i just recently orderd precut film for my car, when i am installing the rear window, do i keep the protective film on for the step where i shrink the film??😬
Yea I have the original and it fell apart within a few months . I really liked it tho. but still even that towel takes up more space than I’d like for the HUD so I just left it out

In Louisiana our inspection sticker ie”brake tag” is placed on the lower drivers side corner of the windshield. Removal is imminent every year or two so that seems problematic for the tint. 😏
I haven’t but the plastic being really light weight probably wouldn’t ever stay where I need it to be and I’d be worried about water running off the sides rather than getting soaked up. But the towel still works well enough here it’s just not all the way to the end

What is the difference between regular tint and ceramic tint? does ceramic tint scratch on the front doors like regular tint.
Ceramic film has metal particles in it that reflect heat. You can even do a completely clear ceramic film and it will block the heat.
