I was a 8th grader going into 9th when OF started blowing up. I’m 26 now. They never really fell off in my eyes…
Everyone just grew up.
Because of Tyler I took making beats more serious i appreciate everything he's done for the culture he deserves his success so much !
OF was like "Summer camp" all tight and together but as you grow older life pulls everyone in diffraction directions and even though there's the occasional beef friends figure it out. But seasons change summer turns to fall in the end just be glad we had OF at all.

Odd Future never fell off just to be clear. They disbanded and pretty much every single one of them is living pretty good right now, with their own attention, not attributed with odd future.

If they ran as a label instead of a group it would’ve lasted longer. Tyler’s commercial success made him the headliner at their shows. It was going to be hard for others to get what they wanted.
That whole collective was so weird and unique… such a cool short lived era of hip hop! Honestly they weren’t musical prodigious by any means… but they were different and very entertaining!

preme and vans were all you needed back then
They were unbelievably successful though. Everybody has to “fall off” at some point but I always felt like the chances of them getting as big as they did was extremely low. It’s pretty amazing when you think about how successful their music careers ended up being.
