I just burst into laughter when the Marine goes "did the army tell you about the gun technique".
Escalating degrees of violence:
1. Air force: Is it moving? Call for help.
2. Coast Guard: Is it moving? Hug it and make it your friend.
3. Navy: Is it moving? Hug it, and make it your friend with benefits.
4. Army: Is it moving? If yes, shoot it till it ain't.
5. Marines: Is it moving? If yes, kill it by any means necessary till it's not.

I love how space force is progressively getting worse and more psychotic as the more time goes on.
I think the AF TIs know how ridiculous the “combatives” portion of combatives is because the “call a marine or soldier if faced with h2h” thing is legit. And in turn, when the soldiers and marines are pinned down in the field, they call us and from the comfort of out scifs, we drop ordinance! It’s really just a nice game of telephone for those three :)
