I had almost forgotten about Gillian. It's been a long time since I have seen her in any production, but it's good to see that she is still around. And she looks more attractive even with the passage of time!
She was in the excellent 'Sex Education' series on Netflix. It's like an American teenage / college drama / comedy set in a school in Wales which has middle class kids and the theme is teen / young adult discovery and all that. It sounds hokey but it's good.
Well she's gay and I'm a dude so looking at her only leads to a deeper depression. At least I can imagine being with Evangeline Lily, but of course only if I was the last man on earth. Slim chance but a one in 20 billion chance is better than nothing.
I think what makes Gillian so inviting is she seems wise and discerning and not to full of herself. I can actually see her as a loving wife and mother . Don’t come off as overly pampered , silly and narcissistic . Like she’d be fun on a canoe trip. Not just her face in a “ still” but her expressions are sensuous , which is rooted in a sensuous mind and personality. Just so hard to not love her.
Yes to everything you said, but she also has a sense of humor. And lets not forget she is a REALLY REALLY good (great) actress. Watch her as a detective in the British cop show she did. She is a fantastic actress.
