- We head into North Derbyshire and to the beautiful town of Buxton to head around TWENTY pubs in one day! There are some seriously impressive places in this video and we were joined by the amazing Emily Williamson from PubTours.co.uk for the latter half of our day!

Beer& bean, Buxton tap and lubens are regular haunts and also red willow but not been in there for a while.
Funnily enough, if I'd looked out of the window, at the right time, I'd have seen you doing your piece outside The Vault.

Are there Pubs that still allow smoking in rural areas or at certain times, even if its illegal? Here in Germany we also have a smoking ban, but the most states extend small bars which dont serve food and smoking rooms for bars and restaurants. Unfortunately smoking isnt allowed in the state where I live, but in the rural areas and at nighttime the ban is often ignored, and now i am wondering if you brits handle it the same way?
No mate, it's viewed as a (minor) criminal offence over here, where a fine can be issued instantly to both the pub and the smoker... so it just doesn't happen indoors at all. Outdoor smoking areas that are open to the air are all you'll find

I live 20 miles from Buxton but take a walk there every year. It's always one hell of a walk and I'm always f**ked when I get there. That first pint is always special. I get the bus or train home. Drunk. Hey, if you ever want to try a night out in Hyde, tameside, let me know. There is fun to be had. Quiet beers, followed by Karaoke, followed by a good rock band (Bike'n'Hound). Trust me.
